Would you like to see a shepard funeral in ME3, i would like one either way even if he doesnt die in the end, like a band of brothers opening scene, so all of the surviving squadmates would be older and have a flashback about shepard... just my thoughts. opinions?

I quite like this idea.

I would Double-like this idea if the funeral had the 21-gun Salute

No Flashbacks. Plus Shepard can't have a funeral since his gonna die blowing up the Reapers.

If he dies,a funeral be nice. Either ejected from Normandy through the airlock,or on Earth with thousands of people watching and crying. But I think there are too many variations based on your decisions and Paragon/Renegade.

Body doesn't have to be there, like in the end of ME2. It can just be symbolic coffin.

I think Shep dieing should not happen no mater what, you should have the option to survive if you made good choices throughout the entire game. But at the same time were should be atleast one good ending where Shepard dies but the Reapers are defeated; and in that ending a funeral would be nice.

On basis of Shepard dying but the attack of the Reapers being thwarted I assume? Yes most definitly, with some of the survivors having something to say about him with the rest of the surviving squad/allies observing. Top of the list for speeches (if they survived) would be Hackett and Anderson (which I think would be most fitting with them being whom we first heard at the start of the trilogy), followed by LI, then whomever is most used squadmate in the game.

Actually whether Shepard survives or not, if Hackett and Anderson survive I think they should do the closing speech, to bring it full circle with them ending the story of Shepard that they started the tale of (in-game wise).

What I didn't mention Udina? Meh am hoping to end his life or allow the Reapers to in pretty much most of my playthroughs :happy:

Is Kenneth Donnely going to play AMAZING GRACE on the bagpipes as Shepard's body is shot out of the ship? Will the squad-mates make emotional speeches about how awesome Shepard was?

Even if the entire galaxy dies, Shepard will still live.

No that happens on the playthrough where Garrus makes the sacrifice to save the crew of the Normandy as it's getting sucked into the black hole that we caused to remove the Reapers from the Galaxy after tricking them to all come to the same spot... this scene taking place after Shepard and Garrus have had a heart to heart between the plexiglass that is seperating the 2 in engine room with Garrus stating that he was the only one to reach the controls that needed calibrating and that the needs of the many outweighed the needs of the few... or the one. :wizard:

And of course it'll be nothing at all like this scene *coughs* ;)

21 guns salute is for presidents. It is artillary cannons firing out into the middle of nowhere. 3 volley (7 riflemen) would be more appropriate.

If shep dies I would like to see a funeral I really liked how my character from DA got a funeral it was new for me I've never seen that before I wouldn't mind seeing another one sense we also missed shep's funeral from 2.

If Shepard does end up dying at the end of ME3, I imagine that it would be for a pretty epic reason (like, say, taking out a super-Reaper,or something).  If that were the case, then a funeral with full military honors and regalia would be expected.

Then again, he already died once, and that really didn't slow him down much.  With all the enhancements Cerberus gave him, Death might only just ****** him off.

That'd be cool as one of the endings. There really should be multiple endings, some with Shepard survving and some otherwise.

I would prefer that my Shepard didn't die at all. But, with that said. . .

Were she to die defeating the Reapers, I think the game would feel very uneven if it didn't show some sort of funeral or appreciative service. I really, really liked the funeral held for the Warden at the end of Dragon Age: Origins. I only chose that option once, but I thought it a very artfully crafted and emotional moment. I'd like to see the same thing happen for Shepard.

I'm with you.  I'd rather not have any of my Shepards die.

I got lucky in DA:O, I hit a glitch that game me both saying my Warden died and I had seen both endings.  One with doing Morrigan's ritual or not doing it.  That game I did what Morrigan asked just like the play through before that one.  I only had to let Allistar and Logain kill the Archedemon and the all four ending achievement popped.

shep has to die eventually:(, and what i was talking about was say you do everything right shep survives the reapers are defeated blah blah blah...at the very end there could be a cool scene with all the characters kinda like the end of KOTOR (everyone was there) bioware has said this is the end of sheps story...

A heroic Sacrifice, you mean? I can't see Bioware not having that for at least 1 ending.
