Already got a preorder for the N7 edition. I figure I have the other two as collectors editions why not the final one?

I got the Collectors Edition of ME2, and out of principle was going to get the N7 Edition of ME3

But I don't personally like the look of much of the extra content, specifically the N7 weapons (blergh)

Its twice the price of the normal edition in the UK, so I'll have to think hard about it. I'm not sure the content at the moment is worth an extra £35 - a few outfits, some weapons, an art book and some music. If it actually does come with a unique mission and character then yes, but otherwise as much as I want it I don't want to fork out for two games worth of money.

I got the ME1 CE but the ME2 one was only available in game and was much more espensive than the standard edition. It looks like it'll be the same this time around. A pity, because the ME2 and ME3 CE editions have amazing covers.

I'm in the same boat. I was going to get the Batman Arkham City collectors edition but there's nothing that good included in it.

Plus with this being the last in the trilogy, and probably the last Mass Effect game for a number of years. Potentially the last on this generation of consoles. Not to mention the games looking pretty awesome. Better than ME2, they're again attempting seamless play, customization of your weapons and powers are going to be more in depth than they were in the previous two games. I won't have to planet scan either and your going to be able to customize the colour of your squad mates armour.

The only thing this game isn't going to have (so far as we know) that we were able to do in the first game is explore planets in the mako. I myself don't find that reason enough to boycott the game, I still don't understand players who were fans of the first game that say they might not even buy the last game in the trilogy. Especially when your only missing out on one feature.

I already pre-ordered the collector's edition of Mass Effect 3 for the Xbox 360 and PS3. I will also pre-order or buy the collector's edition of the strategy guide if one is published or if I can find one.

I always get the collector's editions of titles I really enjoy, this'll be my first ME collector's, I also have the warhammer online and AvP3 collector's editions and soon Space Marine.

I feel they're worth it and the bonus content looks quite nice, I wonder what the announced pre order bonus from EB will be?

I want to add that I'm also in the club of first-timers with CEs. I never really felt the compulsion to purchase one for any other game, neither did I have the money. The one for ME3 was both somewhat cheap and perfect for paying my great thanks to Bioware for the ride and getting some bonus goodies out of it.

Hoodie for my Shep is worth the extra 20 bucks or whatever extra the cost is ...... oh and the other stuff too I guess... but namely the hoodie. 

She'll never wear another uniform again when she's on the Normandy... just a nice comfy hoodie she can relax in.

It's an extra £30 in the U.K. which is a bit steep but if you have enough points on your game card you can get it at a discounted price. In my case I'll get it for £59.99 instead of £69.99

I think an extra £20 is a reasonable price to pay for the content but definitely not worth double the price of the game.

I won't be buying or ordering any edition so long as it requires EA's Origin spyware to install and/or use the software.

I have emailed EA and BioWare regarding this issue, expressing my concerns and informing them of my decision to not purchase software that uses Origin.

Already pre-ordered at Gamestop. 40 bucks put down back in June or July. Will put the other 40 down closer to release.
