I've had issues with physical copies of games so I just download them all through EA electronically. Works well so far, but its a trade off. You don't get an artbook, but you get it digitally, which makes it easier to make wallpaper. You don't get a patch, but you get....Yeah why are both digital and physical the same price again?

Apart from that the implication is that you get an alternate appearance pack for your guys. You can look at it two ways:

1) Same as the Cerebus alternate apperance unlocks, they are just hyping it.
2) Same as the alternate appearance packs you paid for. In which case you
save around $12.

Really not sure what to think. The "free companions" they offered are a bit cardboard and so far you don't even get one. Does the dog do something useful?

Kasumi was a huge step up in that you got a great machine gun. I do that whole mission first and my Vanguard pretty much doesn't need anything else. But you get what you pay for.

Not sure if the soundtrack is worth the difference in price, but its nice to listen to for the first couple weeks while you are playing ME3.

I think they would get more presales if they did wacky stuff like offering FF/MM romance hacks and other fan requests.

I don't think CE are a good idea in general... You are given a lot of really unneeded stuff that in most will just gather dust sooner or later. Not to mention DLC crap that is nothing more than new outfit's, gadget (like robo-dog on Normandy)... or worse overpowered weapons that ruin the gameplay (on normal difficulty).
I buy most games months after premier day, when I know what I'm buying, for lower price and with good Spoiler avoiding it is still similar experience.

I had pre-paid in full for the CE. Had the regular game paid off since last December. I am disappointed with the route they took with the CE. Compared to Gears of Wars 3, Hell even to Arkham City it's kinda lame. The in game weapons and dog is Eh.

I was hoping for replica of Shepards long service medal, or a Statue or a replica Avenger Assault Rifle. Something unique, but we got a re-hash of ME 2 CE.

It's an extra £40 if you get the PC version from Game, which isn't worth it in my opinion.

Well that sucks a whole lot of something not very nice. I don;t know why the pc version would be so expencive when the console version is £30 extra. I'm only getting it at £20 extra because of points on my card.

And a bonus mission with a new character in it, as well as an in-game N7 hoddie Shepard can wear as his casual outfit. 

Totally worth it.

Yup. Gonna be my first video game collection edition. I don't count DA2 since it didn't come packed with any 'real' items like figures and other things like that.

I will buy it ... but darn it I can't decide between ME3 or SWTOR. And I don't want to splurge. >.<
I'll probably order it around in later months.
