The villain is not actually evil but trying to bring about good in his/her own twisted way.

For some reason someone will offer you money to kill 10 rats

One of the non noble characters will find out he is the king after all

The noble character will be discredited by a lie and will have to regain honor

the dwarf character will be a good drinker, and a bit grouchy.

for some reason you cannot chop a monster's head with the axe because it hasn't been identified yet.

After venturing forth into the deep dungeon to retrieve a relic, the elder suddenly realizes there was another relic in there he needs you to go get. When you return to the dungeon, it is again filled with horrible creatures you could have sworn you killed a few hours ago.

To be fair, that mechanic on the Witcher usually dealt with more discrete bodily components such as organs.  Some knowledge when skinning a monster is probably required.

You will be unable to walk off cliffs or off the map due to invisible walls wooooooooooooooo! or a treeline an elephant could walk through

Also 90% of Locks will have no key ever.

You wake up and have to figure out how you got that cold sore on your lip. NO, wait.. ..that's RL. Umm..

You will die many times from events and circumstances that you had absolutely no way of knowing were about to happen but, thanks to the almighty quicksave, can avoid now that you have foreknowledge.

The male romance-able NPC's think your female character is pretty--no matter what she actually looks like. They're also apparently suffering from some version of the problem that afflicts prisoners, sailors, and combat personnel, namely that they've been isolated from female company for some time.

The female romance-able NPC's will be emotionally aloof and standoffish until you express sympathy for their problems.

The Brutal Killer NPC will viciously murder someone who has surrendered/is harmless right in front of the PC, and the worst comment the PC can make will be "don't do that again!!!"

NPC's will complain about each other to the PC instead of talking out their differences like adults.

One of your NPC buddies will form an irrational attachment to one or more obnoxious ****s in the game and you will be obligated to put up with them/help them out to keep that NPC happy.

If there are vague and inconclusive rumors about something, that something is 100% true and accurate.

If someone asserts something with certainty, it will turn out to be at least 75% incorrect.

Someone, somewhere will be fanatically worshiping a completely inappropriate object that you will be obligated to take away from them. This will not please them.

At some point, lying about something will turn out to be better than telling the truth.

Something important will be stolen from the PC or an important NPC and the PC will be obligated to retrieve it.

Someone will be stricken by a previously unheard-of illness that requires extreme measures to cure.

The final boss will not be the toughest fight in the game.

None of this is real. It's just genetic memories of an ancestor that a nebulous super secret conspiracy are attempting to remove from your head to find an artifact of immense power. There are other nebulous super secret conspiracies fighting against them.

All Hail the All Mighty Sporky may he come down from the great cutlery draw in the sky and smite the unworthy with his holy punctures!

also even though a certain character is evil and enjoys giving and causing pain you will always end up in the Missionary position

The dual wield one was my favorite.

hahahah

I actually emplore the KotOR system for making single wielding a lightsaber the best option.

Love that one - very much on the same lines as:

"Go forth and stop the terrible evil sweeping the land! What's that? You want powerful magical weapons and armor? No, no... no. We had a talk about it - and despite you being the worlds only hope - we thinks its better if you have to pick things up from dead people as go along... its character building."

You save someone. You choose a platonic dialogue option like "Hey, no problem." which for some reason causes them to thank you with sex.

I'm going to at some point need something from someone. Maybe it's a bit of information. Maybe it's a tuna sandwich. Rather than just giving you the stupid thing, they're going to make you kill countless creatures and travel to the most dangerous place they can think of to get them several things first... AND THEN, not have what you've been asking them for, and instead just have a blurt about where to go to get it. >.<

No matter whether a female companion was tortured for mage secrets, fought hand to hand in several wars or grew up in the harsh streets of some foreign city's ghetto, they'll always have flawless skin.

Female PCs are allowed a scar, sometimes, but only one. ...and somehow noone ever notices it anyway.
