Ok.....so I popped in my new dragon age ultimate edition disc....played origins...beat it. Uploaded my character into awakening....got really far....and my reward is a viglance sword that looks like the starfang sword.

I've heard all the theories on how to get the real vigilance sword, by deleting wardens keep and re-installing it.

Can somebody please confirm something for me

I have an xbox 360, the DLC came from a disc, so how exactly am I suppose to fix the bug.

You have to disable the Warden's Keep DLC in the main menu. You can always re-enable it later and it won't harm anything - so don't worry about that.

It seems I was mistaken - there is no way to disable DLC on the Xbox 360 (short of uninstalling it, which I don't recommend). I apologize. :(

I'm afraid not. Awakening seems to bug out and give Vigilance the appearance of Starfang if Warden's Keep is installed - it also gives the Sentinel armor the appearance of Warden Commander armor.

I do notice that this is only the case for the Warden - equip those on any other character, and the equipment appears as it should.

Unfortunetly the Fix for 360 is basicaly to uninstall the mod before you import or never install it in the first place.

Bioware has confirmed there will be no fix for this because Microsoft will not let them make a patch to the 360 version of the game.

Bioware wrote...

Unfortunately, we are unable to fix the issues concerning these armor sets and the Vigilance Sword. Due to various
limitations surrounding what we can and cannot patch concerning DLC
content, very strict limits in the size of console title updates, and
the state of some of the assets we attempted to implement,
we regret to inform you that these items will not be fixed at this time.

...

Note
concerning Silverite Mine, Arl of Denerim’s Estate, and Item issues:
Please accept our apologies. While we wish we could have fixed these
issues to the community’s satisfaction, we are unable to do so at this
time. As indicated, we realize that none of these workarounds are ideal
in any way but regrettably have no other course of action as we have very strict limitations with what we are able and not able to patch, on consoles especially.
We have taken into account the root issues related to the
implementation of these areas/pieces and will carry it forward in an
effort to avoid things like this happening in the future.

So the bug has no solution on consoles? Yikes! While the OP has my sympathies, I'm sure glad now I have the PC version where mods can fix the problem. :/

I have had this same problem with the PS3 version. I was so pissed when I couldn't see the armor and sword in full force >.< Is there anyway to fix it for the PS3 version or are we in the same boat? D:

The best way to do it is to uninstall Warden's Peak before importing your Warden, but I wouldn't advise that if you can't install Warden's Peak on demand.

And this dosnt always work either.

As I remeber it was even worse for me since the armor and weapons are all buggy on female dwarf and elves as well.
