I let my son play ME1, with a few rules. One of the rules was that he wasn't allowed to skip dialogues and he had to read at least the main Codex entries. LOL

but since im doing a renegade playthrough soon i wont skip aything so everyone could be proud of me

I've always liked the Quarians. And before you say "ZOMG TALIMANCER BIAS D:<", it's because of their society. It harkens to the way of life portrayed in Battlestar Galactica and is the perfect example of a communist society that actually works. They'd be extinct if they weren't resourceful and resilient.

My least favorite has to be the Turians. Not because of their society, but because Garrus seems to be the only one who isn't an unbelievable dick

agreed , given that there immune system is dreadfully awful , im amzaed by the fact that they manage to get so far let alone surviving . although im still not a fan 

i actually like sidonis alot , barrus(garrus evil twin) isnt so bad either

I have found there are some turians other than garrus that seem friendly enough (mechanic on noveria for example) and others not so much.  That is one reason why I find them so damn interesting, humanity and the turians have had a love/hate relationship.  I can't wait to go to Palevan and it's moon in ME 3.

Seriously though, Lorik Qui'in isn't a dick,and if you save the council the gun store owner in the Citadel is a pretty cool guy,also Gavorn.


But I guess 4 turians don't make up for a bunch of others...

Well he is Turian and that is his homeworld besides I think he mentions in ME 1 he grew up there

Fave: The Thorian, mainly due to its unique appearance and abilities. It's a shame we had to kill it, I would have spared it if the option had arisen.

Not really sure which race is my least favourite. Probably Asari because they look too much like humans.
