I am trying to complete the final quest (The Last Straw). When I go to the gallows, a mage takes me to Lowtown where Orsino and Meredith are arguing, but I am unable to do anything. I don't join in the argument. I just stand there with my party and I can talk to people but make no progress. I even ran around Lowtown to the point where I find Carver and then try to go back to Meredith and Orsino but I still cannot talk to them. This is my second playthrough so I know what is supposed to happen at that point, and it is not happening. Is there anything I can do to fix this or am I just stuck at that point and unable to beat the game?

If it's glitching on you, the only things I could suggest would be to clear out your system cache, reboot your xbox, and load an earlier save.

K I don't understand this at all but the game let me go through Lowtown and kill everything, then move to the docks and kill everything there, and then let me go to the gallows. The only thing is that the dialogue before all that never happened, Anders never blew up the Chantry, and the game apparently made me pick Meredith's side. I probably would have picked Orsino's but that doesn't really matter to me either way, because at least now I know I can beat the game
