I purchased DAO Ultimate Edition for PC back in November 2010.  Because of a health problem I never opened the box until a week ago.
I loaded it onto my pc, went to the EA site and registered the game, because the game would not let me do it.
Now when I load the game it says all the DLC's a "unauthorized" and when I click on the "login" at the lower left side of the screen< I get a message that say's "EA server no longer available.

Can anyone tell me what the problem is?

Do I need to buy a new game?

It should work if you can get connected, which may mean a firewall or password issue...

also don't have a special character in your password, because it causes issues....examples of special characters...#$%^&*

There is a huge number of things that can cause authorization issues. As mcsupersport said, your first stop should be the solutions round-up thread. If you require more assistance, please see the read first post also pinned to the top of this forum for posting instructions. You can also try the 1.05 beta patch. It can cause long load times, so resolving it by other means may be preferable.
