I'm in the same boat as Cooptimus. The add ons page says the ring is available on all platforms, but as a 360 player and a Mac user, I don't keep a PC updated enough to run the Character Creator. Will we be able to upload a character from the 360 game and get the ring? Or do those like us need to buy a new PC for this item, if we are desperate to have it?

I'm excited to pick up my Collector's Edition in the morning, though!

How exactly will I log in with my character creator account when I purchased the game for Xbox 360. If I created a character on my pc and play the game on Xbox can I still receive the ring?

I'm in the exact same boat. I created several character from the CC that I uploaded that don't show up on my profile at all for some reason.

If you didn't get an email, it's probably because you didn't check the box that says it's okay to send you emails.

I finally got my characters to upload yesterday night after many tries. The forum was being hit hard by all the people anger to play the game. I will see if I get the ring when I get back home to play dragon age.

It is added to your downloadable content automatically after you login with your account.

I created a character using the CR and uploaded it a couple of weeks ago. Got the game today, installed just fine, logged in, loaded my upladed character into the game ... no ring!! How do you get it??

but maybe it will appear in our inventory when we log in after buying the game

I've logged into my bioware account, created my character, uploaded it, but it doesn't show up in my account anywhere. How long should it take to update into my online account?

In the Creator program itself, there's a button above the finished character (after creating), just before you click done that says "Upload"... A page highlight will come up, and when it goes away again, you're done.

I created characters and never got the email. Plus the characters never shown up on my 360 game? I would be best if they just gave out a game code you can just plug in to your downloadable content then all this horsing around.

never got an e-mail either. Maybe I've declined getting any e-mails as well. I hope the ring will just be there for me if I use this account on the PS3 version.

I also had to upload many charecters to get one through. There's way more that a few hours of wait, that's for sure. Some never made it at all though.

I got my copy of the game yesterday and installed last night , downloaded the creator and made a few different characters.

Now to play.

This seems harder than it really is, for the 360 players out there... All you do is make a character with the Character creator, LOG IN (in the Character Creator program) to the the SAME email address that your XBox Live account is addressed to, and upload your character (done by pushing "Upload" in the Character Creator program). Once that's done, turn on the game in your Xbox 360, connect to the game server (done automaticly when you're profile's logged in on XBL), and it becomes one of the listed Download Content items. Download, play. Your ring should be in your Equipment Inventory now.             I can't be sure, but it'd be hard to believe that this wouldn't also be true for the PS3 marketed players.

edit: nevermind, just found the upload info button when the character is created.

Nope, no ring appeared in my inventory. Also no DLC shows up to d/l. I used a Steam pre-order and not even Stone Prisoner nor Blood Dragon armor showed; Steam says there is downloadable content!
