Why is my main character name Sigismund considered a profanity!??? I wanted to upload him...

(sorry if this is the wrong place to ask that question)

Honestly, I dunno, it could be profane in German, French, or Spanish too..sadly since the game is distributed in a lot of those areas also...also it could be just part of the word, not sure.

Wondering about the ring. Hopefully I'll get an email and item in-game soon!

note: there's no "email" for this item. The ONLY items that require "codes" to be redeemed are the pre order item you got from wherever you Preordered, and the collector's edition stuff. The Ring auto-grants to your entitlements list once you've got a character uploaded from the creator onto the site. It shows up in-game as DLC.

I uploaded my character profile from within the game. I still don't see the lucky-stone ring in my inventory though...
Or do I have to install the stand-alone character-creator again to get it?

This is very confusing to say the least. A bit more info on the site would be helpful.

I have the same problem with Wardens keep etc, wont show up in the Download menu part. or anything : ((

all DLC shows up for me besides the Lucky Stone I did everything required too :-\\

Only suggestions I can offer is,

1. Make sure your email is the same in the creator as it is in the game.. 2. Try creating, saving, then uploading a new character again.. 3.Start the game, making sure your "Logged In" just incase, and check the Downloadable Content, specificly, Installed Content to make sure it installed.. It installed just fine for me and I only today DL'd the creator and the ring appeared on a character I created before I even downloaded the creator..

So good luck, its not the best ring im sure, but its a helpful one for a lower lvl character.

This is what I did ....



I downloaded the character creation program. I installed it and ran it.

I logged into my bioware socail website account from the software (just like in the real game.)

I made a character.

Above the character prortait a button says upload character. I pressed it and the software confirmed the toon was uploaded.

I logged out of character creator and ran the game.

I logged back into the bioware account, clicked on the downloadable content and the ring was doenloading and installing.



There was no wait and no e-mail. I am sorry for the blow by blow account of this but it may help someone get thier ring. I think the logging into the account is the important bit for what it is worth.



It is a shame that frustration with the DLC is detracting from what is a landmark in role playing games. Have fun .... and beware the darkspawn.

Logged into bioware social website - check
made character - check
Upload button -- (none seen -- have the 360 game) I do have a save button -- check
logged out and ran game -- check
logged back and DL C option --- no sorry...


Put my ticket in and still nothing. All it does is make the date the ticket that I put it in change to today's date. Well the mishandling of this title is putting serious doubts if I even want to try ME2.

With how this crap has carried on for almost a week. They might as well just release the lucky stone to everyone as please think better of us. Since I don't know if you can think any lower.

The Character I created a few days ago has finally arrived on the server

Now I am just waiting for my game to arrive.

Hopefully I will get my ring...
