I recruited both characters.  I began Thane's loyalty quest, but got to Mouse and cannot speak to him; no blue box.  I also began Samara's loyalty quest; interviewed the victim's mother and searched her room, but when I go to Afterlife, there is no sign of a VIP lounge; just a locked door.  I spent an hour or so uninstalling and reinstalling the game and all of the DLC, but to no avail.  Any suggestions?

BTW this is my third playthrough; same computer, same software, 1.02 patch. Never had this problem before.

OK, I finally figured out I was trying to get into the wrong door for the VIP lounge. It was off in the east end of the complex, not in the Afterlife space. Still can't get any response from mouse though, so that seems to be the only bug.

OK never mind. I was hassling the wrong guy, I thought he was supposed to be standing in front of Dark Star. Thank you everyone for your time, and don't do drugs.

(hehe, I feel ya. I blame my own gaps in memory on all the growth hormones and antibiotics they put in the food to keep us docile, personally. It's the government, man, they're out to get us!)

Glad you got it sorted though; it helps to vent/talk-it-through from time-to-time, and reason things out. I have to do it all the time now.
