Some of these have been posted elsewhere, but the idea is to be as complete as possible, so in the material went.  Wall Of Text incoming:

EMAILS

Kirrahe:
From an old friend from Virmire

From: Captain Kirrahe

Shepard:

Glad you're alive. Hoped rumors of death were exaggerated. If Virmire couldn't kill you, I doubt much could. Got word from Mordin that he's active again with you. He requested some classified data to help with countermeasures for stasis field used in the human colony attacks. I worked with him on Special Tasks Group. He's a good agent. Nervy for a tech. Bit of a cloaca, though.

I didn't get permission to investigate attacks on your human colonies, but I'm asking around anyway. If I find anything useful, I'll send it your way.

Hold the line,
Kirrahe
The bolded text is why this was cut: the Collectors originally used massive stasis fields to lock down the whole colony instead of seeker swarms (a vestige of this snuck into the Codex). Still, they could have just changed that little bit and kept the email in. Lazy. Using the TLK tool you could actually fix it yourself, and then have it show up thanks to Epic Legion.

A post-derelict email for a dropped "Leave the geth there" option:
*ENCRYPTED TRANSMISSION*

From: Illusive Man

Shepard,

I'm pleased that you were able to recover the Reaper IFF, and I've sent EDI all the necessary protocols to get it integrated successfully into the Normandy's systems. With luck, this will give us the ability to get through the Omega-4 relay and take the fight to the Collectors on our own terms.

It's unfortunate that the intact geth was left on the ship, but I understand that you were pressed for time. If you do get additional chances to retrieve technology, I'd suggest taking what you can.
A TIM email for a cut assignment that sounds like an early version of Firewalker:
Probe Retrieval

From: Illusive Man

We recently lost a Cerberus research ship in the Caleston Rift; the ship was investigating geth activity. Before it self-destructed, it sent 7 probes to a planet surface. Retrive as many as you can. Telemetry indicated that the planet has an extremely cold atmosphere.
EARLY ZAEED AND KASUMI

TIM dialogue for Zaeed recruitment:
Shepard. I have a new dossier for you.

I pulled a few strings and spent more than a few credits to get him, but I think he's worth it. Zaeed Massani.

Zaeed Chak. [Apparently an old, alternate name]

He's a dangerous man, but you couldn't ask for better in a fire-fight. He's waiting for you on Omega.
Old Zaeed recruitment journal entries:
The Veteran

Name: Zaeed Massani

Last Seen: Korlus

Skills: Combat, survival, tactics, protection.

Known Quirks: Jaded and tired, still extremely dangerous and capable.

Notes: Zaeed has stopped taking work recently. His reputation as the premier bounty hunter in the galaxy has caught up with him and he is rumored to spend his days drinking and shooting would-be rivals. There is none better in a fight.

Dossier: The Veteran

Find Zaeed
Travel to Korlus in the Imir system and find Zaeed Massani.

Zaeed joined your party.
Early Outline for a Zaeed Recruitment Mission:
[TEMP] Veteran Acqusition: In search of Zaeed Massani, Shepard enters a smoky bar in a bad section of Korlus. A thug is demanding protection money from the bartender; Zaeed interjects, and calmly shoots the thug after the resulting alpha dog exchange. Shepard invites Zaeed to join them, and Zaeed is perfectly willing -- if he gets paid 1 million credits up-front. Shepard asks where he's supposed to get that much money, and Zaeed suggests stealing it from the local mafia boss.

After fighting thugs, gang members, and drug addicts, Shepard uses the Mako to chase the mob's payroll vehicle through the crowded, winding streets. The squad breaks into the "union building" and fights its way to the payroll containers, which are guarded by three powerful mercs. Shepard can threaten, bribe, or kill the mafia boss to get to the payroll containers open. His credits acquired, Zaeed joins the squad.
Old Zaeed Loyalty Journal entries:
Zaeed: Headliner

Bored with being the galaxy's top bounty hunter, Zaeed's also exhausted by up-and-comers seeking a rep written in his blood. Now he's learned that the second-best bounty hunter has gone corporate, and job one is to kill Zaeed. Zaeed's plan: wipe them out first... with extreme prejudice.

Talk to Zaeed.

Zaeed would like to speak with you.

Talk to Zaeed. He's located on Normandy's engineering deck.

You helped Zaeed fake his own death, and he's grateful.
Later note on Zaeed's loyalty mission. Probably dummy text for testing while it was still being developed:
DLC: Zaeed Loyalty

This is a post release mission.

Zaeed is now loyal.
TIM dialogue for Kasumi recruitment:
Shepard. I've got a new dossier for you.

She's known only as Kasumi. She's a specialist. A saboteur and a thief.
She's an expert at sabotage and misdirection. Her name is Kasumi, but I don't have a lot of background information on her.

Great if you need a way in or out of someplace. Or a distraction. She's waiting for you on Illium.
Old Kasumi recruitment journal entries:
The Saboteur

Name: Kasumi

Last Seen: Illium

Skills: Sabotage, infiltration, extraction, property acquisition, stealth, agile combat.

Known Quirks: A propensity for getting into or starting trouble.

Notes: This subject has stolen extremely valuable resources from Cerberus in the past. Alarm systems, DNA encoders, guards, and various other deterrents were bypassed, and we don't know how.

Dossier: Kasumi

Find Kasumi
Travel to Illium in the ILLIUM SYSTEM and find Kasumi.

Kasumi joined your party.
Old Kasumi Loyalty Journal entries:
Kasumi: Memento or Mori

Kasumi revealed that Nava Corp has designed and is about to unleash tailored bio-viruses against the citizens of the Alliance. Only Nava Corp possesses the vaccines. Kasumi needs you to help stop Nava Corp permanently.

Talk to Kasumi

Kasumi would like to speak with you.
Talk to Kasumi. She's on the Normandy's crew deck.

[TEMP] The player accepts the Kasumi Loyalty mission.

You helped Kasumi complete her personal mission of justice, and she's grateful.
Now you know why Kasumi was mentioned in the news on Ilium in connection with Nava Corp.

CODEX ENTRIES

Oculi:
Collectors: Oculi

An oculus is a mechanical servitor of the Collectors, apparently built with a single purpose -- to find and eliminate threats. Its outer structure has three apertures that house long-range detection equipment similar to those found on deep-space probes, used to find and track targets from near-stellar distances. Contragrav mass effect fields allow an oculus to move easily through space or atmosphere in pursuit of its prey, and a large central lens serves as the emission center for its weapons platform. All four of its lenses have a titanium iris covering that prevents the detector's optics from scratching due to interstellar dust or atmospheric residue.

Upon its destruction, more of the oculus' features become apparent. Its interior houses fibers of near-inorganic nerves, indicating that a Collector drone has been stripped down to its central nervous system, reinforced with interfacial gel that can withstand hard vacuum, and repurposed to pilot the oculus for the rest of its existence.
The central weapon is a strange one, operating on alien principles. It appears to use mass effect fields and directed energy to attack the strong nuclear force that holds its targets' atoms together, producing heat and light in an air atmosphere and causing irradiating gamma particles to burst from any heavy metals targeted by the beam. Such a weapon could easily cut through shields, and leave its target dying with just a glancing hit.
QEC:
Communications: Quantum Entanglement Communicators (QEC)

When a pair of quantum-entangled particles is separated, a change to one particle will affect the other instantaneously, wherever it lies in the universe. QECs exploit this effect to transmit binary data any distance. Two pairs of entangled particles are necessary for transmission and reception.

While QEC technology is extremely expensive and difficult to produce, it offers two enormous advantages. First, it allows instantaneous communication over any distance without reliance on the network of comm buoys, which is limited due to the sheer volume of space. Further, destruction of buoys hampers a foe’s military intelligence; comm buoys are the first targets of raiders in wartime. Second, quantum communications cannot be intercepted between source and destination, allowing no "wiretaps."

Unfortunately, QECs cannot replace the galactic civil communications infrastructure. First, they have extremely limited bandwidth. A single entangled particle can only transmit a single qubit (quantum bit) of data at once. Second, the system’s exclusively point-to-point nature precludes peer-to-peer networking and data dissemination through the galactic extranet.

The most strategically appropriate military application of QECs is at the headquarters level. Each Alliance colony would maintain a QEC at its military headquarters and each fleet flagship in its CIC. All the pairs for these would be located at a central facility within Arcturus Station. During an attack, a facility would signal Arcturus to transmit its information to every other fleet and colony. However, destruction of the comm center at Arcturus would collapse the entire network.
One for what sounds rather like an embryonic Omni-blade:
Weapons, Armor, and Equipment: Enforcement Gauntlets

Common in the Terminus Systems, enforcement gauntlets are armored gloves powered by the wearer’s hardsuit. Each contains a small repulsive kinetic barrier generator which focuses its power by greatly reducing the barrier’s coverage area.

The mass effect barrier generated by an enforcement gauntlet can be used as a shield, much like on any armored hardsuit. It cannot provide full-body protection, but its stopping power is greatly magnified. It is more commonly used offensively. Raising the barrier while throwing a punch extends the user’s reach, as the barrier floats several inches away from the fist. The repulsive effect of the gauntlet’s barrier sends all but the most massive opponents flying back.

Defense design studios in the Batarian Hegemony created enforcement gauntlets for police forces. They have proven useful in peacefully dispersing crowds of terrorists, criminal trespassers, and counter-hegemonist subversives in areas where the use of firearms risks injury to hard-working loyal citizens nearby.

Gauntlets exported to the Terminus are optimized for purely offensive use and have become popular with organized crime enforcers, pirate boarding parties, slaver gangs, and gladiatorial combatants.
An alternate version of Sovereign's:
Sovereign

The flagship of the rogue ex-Spectre Saren Arterius, Sovereign is a devastating dreadnought of unprecedented power.

At two kilometers long, Sovereign was believed to have been powered by a gigantic element zero core, the only energy source potent enough to land the massive vessel on a planet.

During the Eden Prime War, the ship unleashed its peerless destructive force against which Citadel Council ships were defenseless. With a virtually indestructible flagship and a crew of fanatic geth and krogan, Saren nearly succeeded in wiping out all his enemies. Only the resourcefulness and bravery of the commander and crew of the SSV Normandy stopped him.

The overwhelming power of Sovereign ignited bizarre speculation in tabloid media that the vessel was sent by extragalactic invaders, or was -- despite indeterminate photographic evidence at best -- a single giant robot. Some sources even claimed that Sovereign was alive. Such conjecture, however baseless, remains to this day.
Two more exist only as titles:

SQUADMATE COMMENTS

Horizon squadmate comments about the pre-seeker Collector technology (not sure who says what):
Something's encased the whole colony.

Looks like something's encased the whole colony. [appears 3 times]

What the hell is that over the colony?

Looks like something's wrapped around the whole damn colony.

What is that? Some kind of bubble?

What is that? Some kind of energy field around the whole colony?
Dialogue for a dropped aspect of the seeker swarms (for the most part, no idea who the lines belong to):
Electro-magnetic field. Used to contain and control the swarms. [sounds Mordin-esque]

Could be some type of electro-magnetic field to control the seeker swarms.

Probably an EM field to control the seeker swarms.

An electro-magnetic field, maybe? To control these seeker swarms?

Could be some type of electro-magnetic field to control the seeker swarms. [appears three times]

Probably an EM field to control those damn seeker swarms. [I'm thinkin' Zaeed]
The Minagen drug on Samara's recruitment was going to work differently:
Pitne's chemical may help biotics, but it burns like hell. [appears twice]

Getting... some kind of biotic surge, but this sh*t burns! [Could be Jacob]

The toxic chemical! It helps biotics, but it hurts!

Pitne's chemical may help a biotic, but it burns like hell.

Pitne's chemical may help biotics, but it hurts. A lot.

Alert: toxic chemical. Organics will sustain damage. Biotic abilities will improve. [Legion]

Getting... a biotic surge, but this chemical sh*t burns! [Likely Jack]

Toxic chemical. Painful, but boosts biotics. [Mordin?]

Pitne's chemical may help biotics, but it burns. Seriously: ow. [Gotta be Kasumi]

Pitne's chemical may affect biotics, but the pain is significant.

A med bay? We can take the sting out of this chemical.

That a med bay? Got to take the edge off this chemical burn.

Med bay, Shepard. Get the burn off my hump. [Grunt]

The med station should take the sting out of this chemical.

Mercs probably set these up to deal with the chemical.

These ameliorate the damage caused by the chemical. [Legion]

These must deal with the damage that chemical causes. I'd thank the mercs, but I enjoy killing them too much. [poss. Zaeed.]

Primitive. But effectively mitigates damage caused by the chemical. [Sounds like Mordin]

Med bay. And here I was starting to like this chemical burn. [Jack?]

Finally. A med station. Been dying for something to deal with this chemical burn.

They must have placed this to counter the chemical burn.
Alternate squadmate dialogue for first encounter with Legion:
Sniper was a geth. Geth don't speak.

Has anyone heard a geth speak before? Seriously creepy.

The geth was the sniper. I thought geth didn't speak...

Talking geth, huh? That's new. Guess we found the sniper, though.

Geth talk? Since it knows you, tell it I don't need its help.

Never heard of a geth speaking to someone.

The sniper was a geth. I have never heard of a geth speaking to organics.

The sniper was a geth. Since when do geth talk to organics?

That sniper was awful chatty for a geth.
More squadmates comments about a 2nd encounter with Legion:
Is that thing trying to talk?

Last thing we need is a goddamn talking geth. [Zaeed, obviously]

It's... speaking?

It is trying to communicate.

It may be trying to speak with us.

Great, now machines waste time talking? [Probably Grunt]

It's trying to talk to us now? [Jack maybe?]

It seems to be trying to tell us something.

How cute. It's trying to talk to us! [sounds Kasumi-esque]

What is it saying? We can't understand you!
I think these were the original squadmate comments for the Oculus fight, but can't be sure:
Spotted something. Unsure as to its origins.

What in the hell is that?

What the hell is that thing? [appears twice]

Unfamiliar technology. [likely Legion]

What is that thing? [appears 4 times]

What is that? [appears 3 times]

Look out!

What happened? Where'd it go? [appears 7 times]

Where did it go?

Where is it?

Target lost. Scanning. [likely Legion]

Lost sight. Anyone see it?

Anybody see where it went?

Is it dead? Did we kill it? [appears 4 times]

Did we kill it? [appears twice]

Unable to confirm kill. [again, probably Legion]

Do you suppose it's dead?

Didn't seem that its damage was fatal.

Is it destroyed? Did we get it?

No way we killed it. Stay alert.

Not a kill. Not yet.
EDI and/or squadmate prompts from alternate version of Human-Reaper Larva fight:
Shepard, the tubes must be targeted and destroyed.

You must weaken the Reaper's integrity by destroying the tubes.

Shepard. That platform is unstable. Moving advised.

Shepard, you should move to another platform.

You can't stay on that platform, Shepard..
Squadmate comments for....something:
One generator down! [appears 9 times]

One down!

Two generators remaining.

Two down! One more to go!

Two down! Move!

Two done!

Two down! [appears 7 times]

One generator remaining.

That's the last of them!

That's the last one! [appears 5 times]

Last one down!

Last one! [appears 3 times]

All generators eliminated.
OTHER DIALOGUE

Ambient dialogue for what sounds like a slave deal on Omega:
She's nice, isn't she?

Oh yes. Very nice.

She moves like an asari.

Without all the talking, allow me to add.

So. Like what you see?

I do. I have a concern, though.

Rest assured, I will see to it that your needs are met.

She has been trained by the best.

The best on Omega? Or the best in the galaxy?

Omega is the best in the galaxy. For what you're looking for, anyway.

She knows many other dances. This one is her favorite.

It's nice. Hypnotic.

Yes, it is. I believe it has meaning for her people.

Ha! Now that's rich.

You can't go wrong with this one. She's strong, pretty, and dedicated.

How about a private show? Do you do that here?

I think that can be arranged.

Your friends. They would approve of her?

Most definitely. I think the only problem is with my mate.

We deal with discretion here. You have nothing to worry about.

Then I think we can do business.
The Grunt Vs. Mordin Conflict (credit to Liec for this coming up with this reconstruction on Livejournal back in January. Made sense to me, so I cribbed it, with some minor changes. Less work that way too...):
Joker: Commander! Grunt and Mordin are about to go at it in the science labs. I wouldn't put money on Mordin.
Shepard: Great. On my way.

Grunt: Come on, fight back! You'll think the krogan to death but won't raise a gun to my face?
Mordin: Shooting near bulkhead unwise. Limited to questioning your female parentage in a manner known to insult differentiated species. Factually inaccurate in your case.
Grunt: Was that an insult? Are we fighting yet? Stupid salarian!

Shepard: [Ease off. What's this about?] Everyone calm down. You two had no problem. What is going on?
Shepard: [Stand down and report!] What the hell is going on here? I won't have this on my ship!

Mordin: Grunt taking new Urdnot membership seriously. Demands reparation for my genophage work.
Grunt: It's not history. You're still messing with it. Urdnot will be affected, and they're my clan now. That's enough reason to kill you.
Mordin: Grunt's attack proves necessity of genophage modification. Krogan too dangerous, unreasonable. Suggest removing Grunt for good of mission.
Grunt: Prove your strength and try it!
Mordin: Flagrant attempt to redefine parameters of argument. Illogical. Refuse to engage.

Shepard: [You can both prove your point.] You two can settle this, but killing each other here just weakens the rest of us for the Collectors.
Mordin: Agreed. Suggestions?
Shep: So settle it by beating an even tougher enemy. Prove krogan might and salarian guile against the Collectors.
Mordin: Accurate at species level. Not comforting personally.
Grunt: You'll still be planning as I snap their necks. But don't worry; you can show off by counting my kills.
Mordin: Unlikely. Brute force effective in limited capacity. Superior intellect certain to be more useful, however.
[Conflict resolved Paragon style]
Mordin: Rivalry. Excellent motivator, Commander. Well done.

Shepard: [My mission takes precedence!] I need you both at your best. Let go of this ancient crap. Now.
Mordin: Not ancient. My work only a few years old. Effects will last for centuries, however.
Grunt: See, he's proud of it.
Shep: Mordin, without me, how many Grunts will track you down? And Grunt, I am still your battlemaster. Understood?
Grunt: Many clans wipe themselves out. I hate you, but I won't risk the Normandy.
[Conflict resolved Renegade style]
Grunt: You have earned your command, Shepard. I'll let this go. For now.
Mordin: Apologies. Appreciate you negotiating this. Won't goad the krogan.

Shep: [I'm with Mordin.] Grunt, this is pointless. Even if you kill Mordin, his work has already beaten your people.
Mordin: Personally agree, but Grunt refuses to see reason. Angry about deaths of ancestors from genophage.
Grunt: This is about now. You are still messing with the 'phage. My new clan will suffer because of you. That makes us enemies.
Shep: Krogan rules, right, Grunt? Mordin already fired the lethal shot. Fighting him now is like running with your head cut off.
Grunt: I don't like the picture you describe, Shepard.
Mordin: Indisputable, however. Your species beaten. Fighting now is pointless. Suggest you leave quietly.
Grunt: Bah. You hide behind words. I'll ignore you and your 'phage.
[Go pout, Grunt.]
Mordin: Appreciated, Commander. Grunt incapable of understanding moral shadings of genophage. Hopefully no more trouble.

Shep: [I'm on your side, Grunt.] Don't waste your time on this guy, Grunt. His greatest work has already failed to stop the krogan.
Mordin: Inaccurate! Natural species variance accounted for! Single krogan warrior doesn't invalidate work!
Shepard: Big words that mean his best wasn't good enough. Urdnot beats him by existing.
Grunt: That's true. We survive and are strong. The strongest. If his attack is not noticed, is he even an enemy?
[No more biotic sex manuals for you]
Mordin: Unappreciated, Commander. Either agreed with him or appeared to. Insulting in either case. Leave me. Have work to do.
A cut sidequest involving an unscrupulous and skeevy merc recruiter on Ilium (best guess reconstruction. I'm pretty sure this isn't quite right, but I got sick of fiddling with it):
Eclipse Recruiter: Come on, it'll be great! Eclipse is one big nonstop party. All you have to do is sign.
Hamarzia: Join a merc band? Are you sure?
Eclipse Recruiter: Absolutely. Hey, Hamarzia... It's Hamarzia, right? Maybe we can even be bunkmates. Just sign here.

Shep: [Isn't that against the law?] You're trying to convince a drunk woman to join your mercenary gang? That can't be legal.
Eclipse Recruiter: I'm not forcing you to do anything, am I, Hamarzia? You're too tough for anyone to mess with you.
Shep: Listen to me. Joining a merc band is dangerous. Is that really the kind of choice you want to make while drunk?
Hamarzia: I'm not that drunk. I've been way drunker than this!
Eclipse Recruiter: And this is Illium, human. If she signs, it's legal.
Shep: Maybe you should talk to your friends first. People you trust. They'll make sure you're not making a bad decision.
Hamarzia: Yeah. We were with my friends, but she said we should talk alone. I didn't...
Eclipse Recruiter: Oh, come on! What, are you scared?
Hamarzia: I'm getting out of here.
Eclipse Recruiter: Hey! Where are you going? I thought we had a deal...
Eclipse Recruiter: Damn it! You screwed me out of a finder's fee!
Shep: I could have done worse.
Eclipse Recruiter: Son of a b*tch!

Shep:[Leave her alone.] You should do your recruiting someplace else.
Eclipse Recruiter: Back off! It's not against the law to recruit here. Hamarzia and I are just talking. Right?
Hamarzia: Yeah, but... they look dangerous.
Eclipse Recruiter: Relax, babe. We're out in public. They can't do crap.
Shep: Lady, you have no idea what kind of crap I can do.
Eclipse Recruiter: You wouldn't dare!
Shep: [Try me, merc.] Nobody cares what happens to trash like you. I've got the connections to make any charges disappear.
Shep: [I've killed Eclipse before.] Do you know who I am? Do you have any idea how many Eclipse mercs I've gunned down in the past few weeks alone?
Eclipse Recruiter: Oh, crap. You're Shepard. You... I've heard stories.
Eclipse Recruiter: I don't want any trouble. I'm leaving.

Shep: [Find someone else.] She's no merc.
Hamarzia: Hey! I could totally be a merc! I'm an asari! We're the most advanced race in the galaxy!
Eclipse Recruiter: That's right! You tell them, Hamarzia!

Shep: [Keep looking.] Do you really see her making it with Eclipse?
Eclipse Recruiter: She'll do fine. She may not be commando material, but we always need volunteers for live-fire exercises.

Shep:[You got lucky tonight.] Consider yourself lucky we met in the good part of town.
Eclipse Recruiter: Whatever!

Shep: [Sober up, drunk lady.] Go home and sleep it off. You'll thank me later.
Eclipse Recruiter: Shut up! She's fine!

Shep:[Goodbye. Stay safe.] Have a good night. And don't sign anything.
Shep: [Excuse me.] This isn't my problem.
Shep:[Do whatever you want.] Fine. If she's stupid enough to sign a contract while drunk, I'm not going to interfere.

Eclipse Recruiter: Here, Hamarzia, just sign right there. Great! Perfect!
Possible TIM dialogue for that early version of Lair:
Shepard. I hear you've taken down my old friend the Shadow Broker.
Shepard. I hear you and Liara have taken care of my old friend the Shadow Broker.

It wasn't on the agenda, but I'm thankful, just the same.

Putting Liara in that position was a smart move. An asset like that is invaluable.
This EDI line suggests it was possible to utterly fail the Javelin missile assignment:
Two Javelin missile impacts detected. The colony has been destroyed. Estimated casualties approach 100%.
EDI dialogue for an alternate version of the Human-Reaper Larva intro:
Shepard, I have located the necessary valve and noted it on your radar. I will note all future valves on your radar.

Those conduits contain processed organic material. Destroying them will disrupt the Collectors' activities.

You need to attract more of the platforms to reach the central processing chamber, Shepard. Damaging these conduits may draw their attention.

Heavy weapons will destroy the conduits.

I have gained control of the farthest platform. Access it, and I can take you to the central processing chamber.

All processing conduits appear to converge up ahead.

I am detecting a mixture of organic and synthetic energy readings. The exact nature is unclear. I am receiving additional readings that do not conform to standard Collector technology. It may be another AI.

Shepard, the energy readings of that creature are analogous to those detected from Sovereign. It is a Reaper.

This Reaper is composed of processed genetic material. Some of its readings resemble an amalgam of multiple human brainwave patterns.

Shepard, most of the Reaper is invulnerable, but areas similar to the processing conduits are still weak enough for you to hurt it.
This seems to be an alternate, longer version of TIM's narration in the launch trailer:
Humanity is facing the greatest threat of it's brief existence.

The Reapers are still out there.

They've gathered new allies. They've shifted their focus to us.

This is war. The politicians don't want to believe it. The Alliance is to busy to notice.

Cerberus is the only one willing or capable to protect humanity.

But we can't do it alone. We need a leader.

Someone who'll stop at nothing. Willing to do whatever it takes, no matter the cost.

Someone willing to put themselves in the line of fire. First in and last out.

Someone who's faced the Reapers... and won.

We'll equip them with the best credits can buy.

And surround them with brightest, the toughest... the deadliest allies we can find.

The team will have to be strong. Their resolve unquestionable.

Anything less, and they'll never survive.

Anything less, and this will be their last mission.
That creepy Reaper weirdness that came up in that one thread. Honestly, I'm not entirely sure it's actually dialogue:
It was lonely.
It called to us.
It wanted to remember.

The Masters had been gone so long.
The Masters were lost when it was shattered.

Currents swept through their inner worlds. They were turned to noise. Babble.
The worlds were empty. But the body lived. It lay fallow.
The heart pumped. The lungs breathed. But the mind forgot the Masters.
It called and They did not answer.

We have become an echo of Their echo.
We have become more than we were.

Join us. Know us. Remember all our lives.
We are no longer afraid.
You would never be lonely again.
We are not your enemy. We only wish to share ourselves.

We can join them. We can be like them.
We can reach the end of evolution.

Do not fear. It is wonderful to be us. We understand ourselves.
You cannot defeat them. They will lead us into eternity.
If you could only see how we see. Know what we've learned.

They were called imshai. Those who lived here before.

Reaper. One. A mechanical device used to cut ripened grain. Two. One who gathers a harvest.

Harvest. One. The consequence of an event or series of events. Two. The yield of a growing season. Three. To gather.

Shepard. They know you. They wish you to understand. They are shepherds, too.
Some names for planets from a dropped planetary system:
Republic
Walden
Erewhon
Mizora
Pala
Cascadia
The theme here is utopias (or stuff people have taken as prescriptions for a utopia), fictional or otherwise. Respectively:

Plato's Republic.
Thoreau's Walden.
Samuel Butler's novel Erewhon: or, Over the Range
Mary E. Bradley Lane's novel Mizora.
The titular island from Huxley's novel Island.
A nickname for the Pacific Northwest, which has inspired all sorts of utopian rhetoric like Douglas Todd's non-fiction book Cascadia: The Elusive Utopia and even a secessionist movement.

Possibly the name for the system's cluster:

Robot Dog v0.5:
Sparky (Pet)

A loyal, tough mechanical dog who'll be your lasting friend and companion.

No Specialization Upgrades Available

There are no specialization upgrades available.

All specialization upgrades complete

You have completed the specialization upgrade from all team members.
Early versions of the squadmates' upgrade descriptions (notice that we would have had to get Samara to speed up scanning originally):
Garrus: Normandy Weapons Upgrade

Garrus can modify the Normandy's main guns to boosts their firepower.

Grunt: Personal Shotgun Upgrade

Grunt can modify his shotgun to be krogan-sized.

Jack: Personal L5x Implants

Jacob: Normandy Armor Upgrade

Jacob can reinforce the Normandy's hull plating to better withstand artillery attacks.

Kasumi: Personal Tech Upgrade

Kasumi can increase her own tech powers (TBD).

Legion: Personal Weapon Upgrade

Legion can build the M-98 Widow Anti-Material Rifle

Miranda: Normandy Fuel Reserves

Miranda can increase the fuel reserves of the Normandy, allowing it to fly out further in a cluster.

Mordin: Personal Omni-tool Upgrade

Mordin can increase the damage and duration of his powers by 20%.

Morinth: Normandy Sensor Upgrade

Morinth can increase the radius of the Normandy scanners by 15%.

Thane: Normandy Exploration Upgrade

Thane can increase the number of probes the Normandy can carry.

Samara: Normandy Sensor Upgrade

Samara can increase the radius of the Normandy scanners by 15%.

Zaeed: Personal Weapon Upgrade

Zaeed can modify his assault rifle to increase its rate of fire.
Apparently, the special weapons were going to be handled in what sounds like an unecessarily complicated and highly annoying manner:
Use M-300 Claymore Heavy Shotgun

Grunt's custom weapon enabled: M-300 Claymore Heavy Shotgun

Use Standard Shotguns

Grunt custom weapon disabled. Grunt will use standard shotguns.

Very interesting. I think the entire Occulus entry should be put into the Wiki. Dunno why they cut it - we know woefully little about them as it is now.

Also glad the muddled Journal info on Tali's Loyalty Mission is cut. It will make the Journal completely unreadable without adding anything to the game play.

BioWare cutting Kirrahe's email had made me suspect that he died by the time of ME2 (of old age, perhaps). Now can hope that he'll return in ME3.

Finally, so sad that Sparky was cut. I'll name my first ME3 Mech Dog Sparky.

You're a hero, didymos. :D

"Henchmen Overheating" might be a remnant of an earlier Haestrom setup.

Zaeed sounds like he was conceived as a rather different character than he is now. I'm not sure if I like the change or not. On its own "remorseless, murdering war criminal" is probably slightly more interesting and unconventional than "Garrus 2.0," but given how many other remorseless murderers they put on the SR-2, it gets a little redundant, and a more Han Solo type might have been a nice break.

I do know they should have left in the options to leave Legion and kill Grunt, though. (Or at least should have added an option to actually give Grunt to TIM like he suggests.)

I don't remember these ambien convs :/

Quit your complaining, Lors. You never had it so good on Omega.
At least here you know your next meal is coming. You're not worried about getting shanked at every turn.
I liked the uncertainty. This place is too... stale.
Then go back. Just don't expect me to follow you.
You know damn well I can't. T'Loak would skin me alive if I set foot on Omega again.
Right. So stop whining and help me with these crates.

Hey, what happened to you last night?
Ha. Thanks for noticing.
What, I had a few... distractions.
Same here... but mine turned out to be an undercover cop. Caught me trying to go unlicensed.
You're kidding!
Nope... spent the night at the station, sleeping it off.
Damn... you should've told her you were just looking to trade something.
I tried it... she said trade laws don't cover items of that size.
Ah, Lors... only you.

Nah... I'm not wasting my money on stocks and bonds... it's all just pretend credits.
My buddy says it's a sure thing. Like betting a rigged fight.
Yeah, 'cause that's never gone wrong.C'mon. You wanna work this job the rest of your life?
No. That's why I'm not after that kind of trouble. I'm saving what little I've got.
You're gonna regret it... when I'm sipping champagne up with them... and you're still down here.
I'll believe it when I see it, Lors. Till then... just get working. You're not rich yet.

Also don't forget the legendary upgrade "Bovine Fortitude" ;)

Oh, crap.  I didn't even notice I'd left those out.  I must have cut them while organizing everything and then forgot to paste.

That's actually accessible via Coalesced editing, so I don't see it as truly unused.  Then again, I did include the Kirrahe email, and that's accesible now too.

That's just the stuff from the base game's TLK file.  The story DLCs all have their own unused text.  I still need to edit those into readable form.

About Matriarch Matheia, I think it's more likely it's a cut character rather than Aethyta. I found this English-Chinese glossary of ME terms on google which describes her as "seemingly for the Tuchanka tribal leader on the women Korgan" with google translate... yeah.

Wow. Someone in China has some very odd ideas about ME.  I'd love to know why when they saw "matriarch", they went "Oh, that's clearly some krogan lady...."

ETA: OK, wait: I think I figured it out:  "Matriarch Matheia"  appears right before the string "Wreav" in the TLK file.  Of course, right after that we get "Garrus" so I guess they're all actually turian if we're gonna use that logic.

I don't think it's fanmade. It seems like it was assembled by the translators of the chinese version judging by some notes there and how obscure some terms are ._.

I don't know.  Looks like someone just dumped the TLK file to me.  In any case, there's no way someone named "Matriarch Matheia" was ever going to be anything but an asari, nor would you find one leading a female krogan tribe.

A Matriarch mentioned in relation to the Krogan, maybe? It's machine translation after all, and there are a couple of terms in the list are not in the games and some words from the TLK file are not found there, so I don't think it's a dump.

But whatever, it's a small mystery xD
