Mac said that the Reapers will be of various sizes in ME3. Some are a couple hundred meters long while others can reach up to a few kilometers (e.g. Harbinger).

I don't have a source, but if I recall correctly, it was in one of his interviews earlier this year.

Um, might have something to do with the fact that humans didn't exist 37 million years ago, much less however much earlier than that it was when the first Reapers rolled off the production line.

In short:
It could be that humanity doesn't stem from earth, but from another system ( much like the quarians are being driven out by the Geth) , created the reapers, got narrowly beaten by them and ran away fleeing across the galaxy, but because humanity was diminished in numbers they got extinct  leaving an imprint of DNA behind.
At a certain point in time the reapers where destroying the Protheans, and the Protheans found the last "resting place"of humanity and maybe found that we are key to destroying the reapers and engineered our evolution and leaving information for us to find on how to beat the reapers( which can not be obvious in case the reapers might pick it up).

As I said earlier it is not the best theory, but until ME3 arrives it's plausible( much like any other theory out there).

I've read the leaked storyline of ME 3. The Reapers want to revert to organics and they want to use humans as a model species BUT they want to be pure humans or something and start a new age and wipe out all of the other species. TIM supports this.

Nah I'm just joking around.

Still though the part about the Reapers being organic is true (I think. And if it isn't then maybe its half true.)

I have a theory about that.  When you are on the Reaper IFF mission, when you get the the area with all the Dragon's Teeth you have the choice to examine the area.  If you notice that in that area is a rather large structure, I believe that inside that structure is the actual Reaper, whatever form it is.  What they do is create the Reaper, then encase it in the shell that we all see so they can survive space flight.  What we see and call a Reaper is nothing more than armor or a space suit.


Anyways, there are some decent theories here and some not so decent theories, keep up the good work.
