Considering how much you guys love Mass Effect, I though i would let you all know that I just left the tattoo parlor with a piece of Mass Effect memorabilia etched permanently into my skin! Yes, it is all very exciting. Anyways, the piece was inspired by (as you have probably guessed) tattoos worn by our favorite foul-mouthed, deranged and positively psychotic criminal Jack!

But why waste time explaining my new ink when a picture is worth a thousand words? Images below -

As you can see, Jack and I now share the same shoulder tattoo (we have so much in common)! As die-hard Jack fans can surely tell, it is not a complete copy however - the original design was modified to give the tattoo a more "skull" like appearance, I colored over the spot where Jack has a scar, and I removed the three dots that are normally located in the lower right-hand corner of Jack's ink.

Overall, I am very satisfied with the final outcome of said tattoo and, as I have already stated above, thought that fellow Mass Effect fans would get a kick out of seeing a feature from the game inked permanently into someones skin. :P

So, what do you guys think?

As you can tell from the thrid pic, I am not a greenhorn when it comes to tattoos. But to anser your question, no, not really; the pain associated with tattoos is horribly overrated.

Thin bones such as wrists or the collarbone can be a b****  though. =p

Very cool, sir. For looking like Jack's tat, and also just because it's a cool looking design.

Hopefully you have not actually killed anyone, though. :D

Oh, is the skull the only part of Jack's tattoo or something? I didn't really pay much attention to her tattoos, really. But it is a really awesome piece of work you have there, honestly. It looks really good.

Yeah, that's what I've heard. I don't plan on getting tattoos, ever, but I'll keep that in mind if I change my mind haha.

That...that is ****ing awesome! That tattoo was my favorite out of Jack's hundreds, next to the skeleton hands on her chest. Perhaps one day I shall get the skull, and one of Zaeed's - specifically the arm band.

Awesome choice, Skorpious!

You know those times? Those times when you see something and it is entirely appropriate? This is one of those times.

Awesome! I too have Mass Effect memorabilia etched into my skin; I have a tattoo of the Normandy on my foot. Glad you went ahead and got it and are just as proud as I am to show your love for the game. ;D

I...really like this. I have a Super Mario sleeve i'm working on, and i've always wanted to get something ME related, but never really found something that i really liked and wasn't too cheesy. If i was more of a Jack fan, i'd be all over it...awesome job though! :D

Your going to have so much fun explaining the origins and meaning of that tattoo to your family, friends, future partner and future children. I am so jealous and full of envy.

I plan on getting at least one, possibly two ME-themed tattoos. But I plan on earning them; I'm a soldier in the US Army, and I plan on trying out for Special Forces. When I graduate the SF Qualification course, I'm getting a N7 symbol. If I'm good and lucky enough, I'll eventually join Delta and celebrate with a Spectre symbol.

EDIT: also, a half- or full-sleeve of the Archdemon. But that's only partially DA-related.

I thought about getting a tattoo inspired by Jack's once, but I haven't yet inked my body. I do have loads of piercings though -- ears, eyebrow, nose, tongue, navel. I figure it wouldn't hurt to get a tattoo or two in keeping with my style. What's a girl like me to do?

Glad to hear tattoo "pain" is over-hyped! And nice tats, OP. :]

That looks great Skorpius! Jack is my favourite human character in the game, and the tats look great on her, so a good choice of a tat for your shoulder!
