It's always sad to think of how Cullen must have felt at the departure of an Warden recruited Amell/Surana. I think yours were very cute! Lengthy words does not automatically equal better concepts, and yours were good! You can always slap on the Italics to fancy it up, works for me all the time!

@Battlebloodmage I always preferred Nick to Disney, mainly cause everyone calls me "Nik" so my young foolish mind always thought that network was made just for me. Plus, they had Rocko's Modern Life. That was my sh*t!

I loved both Rugrats and Rocko's Modern Life (I only found out recently that I can watch it on Netflix)- oh and "Are you Afraid of the Dark?"... I was always a nick/cartoon network type of kid. There was some show about pirates I was really into... can't even remember it now.

LittleNicki, that made me laugh pretty hard, I think that's as cosplay as you can get without knowing it.

The notion would be to crowd source entries for the journal, with everyone thinking some up and sharing for page 1000. Something like the following. Then we'll post them here at http://templardiaries.tumblr.com/

Day 42 - I found Carroll's bloody socks under my bed again! Not only do they smell but they're always stiff and crunchy. Why would his socks be crunchy?

Day 57 - My skivies are missing.... again. I b et I'll find them in his trunk... again. He's going to tell me he was doing both our wash together.... again. I wish he'd stop. Just stop.

Day 60 - I caught Carroll "borrowing" my wash cloth again... Maker, I don't want to think about where he's been using it. Must remember to request a new one from Greagoir. Not to self: Buy new pants.

Day 61 - Found a sprig of lavender in my smallclothes drawer. Carroll blushed and said they freshen your linens. "You know, for when you finally get your hands on that pretty mage. After I'm done with her, that is." Prat.

Day 62 - Saw Carroll flirting with Amell today. Must. Punch. Something.

I just whipped up another one that I'm pretty pleased with, but I think I'm gonna wait until tomorrow to post it when everyone is up and around. Bout time I went to bed myself, I wont be very productive in class if I'm passed out and drooling on the table the whole time. The guy that sits next to me probably wouldn't be too happy about that either...

It's surprising what you can come up with if you just start letting your imagination run wild, especially if something you read that someone else writes inspires you. You should definitely give it a go!

I dunno. I just think I'm too stressed right now to be creative. I'm saving any drabbles for end of the semester. I've got my defense coming up next week, plus I've a mountain of papers to grade. Then a possible job interview to prepare for.

Think I'll just relax and read everyone else's stuff xDDD

By the time he had finished, my resolve had been feasted upon by my rage like a dying corpse to a crow. How foolish I must have looked, standing like stone whilst he captivated her with his tales of Denerim bakeries and Orlesian recipies. I finally excused myself, tripping over my weak explanation. Something about training I think, I cannot fully recall as I was such a wreck. I think I shall visit the kitchens tomorrow. Perhaps she shall return. If not, I could always try my hand at making something sweet for her ravishing lips to feed upon. Ah, if only were mine own lips that could be so lucky to be the recipient of such attentions!

Hey guys, those are all great!  Sorry our timeline sorta broke down. I think we should still post those on Page 1000 if we can. So if you have a post on page 1000, go ahead and edit it with your stuff. I'll do the same. If you don't have a post there, I can add them to mine.

We'll also be coming back to these journal entries again. I think it's also fun to sort of feed off of each other with a prompt. So we can all make some up on the fly.

For completeness here are the few I could come up with so far...  (I'll post them also on pg 1000)

Day 2: A templar is forgiving. Perhaps if I continue to repeat this to myself, it will be true. Carroll must be without a doubt the most… self-absorbed and idiotic braggart I have ever had the misfortune to meet. Today in the mess hall he was talking about the… charms of some of the female mages. He claims he’s keeping a count in notches on his bed post. The others think he’s adding them just for show…

Day 13: I must have done something to anger Greagoir, but what I know not. That is my only explanation for why I have now been assigned as Carroll's bunkmate. Between the excessive grooming in the glass and his snoring, I may finally lose my mind. I will, however, finally get to learn the truth behind the bed notches.

Day 14: Templars are not concerned about rank and privilege. But am now counting the days until my next promotion moves me out of the knights’ quarters. Apparently I was paired with Carroll, because his previous bunkmate was suddenly reassigned to Denerim. For mental health reasons. Unluckily for me, I was the next new knight to move up alphabetically.
