*pout* Now berelinde, don't ruin the best part of the Cullen-as-farmer idea!    And, I can't take credit for the horse washing... that was ALL brushyourteeth. LOL 

OK, not shirtless.  Or not totally. Shirtless underneath overalls! How about that?

Anyway... I've mentioned it before, but farmer-like humble beginnings is also something I could see as an interesting origin for him. I could totally see him as a big, strappin' farmboy, going home to the family farm on the few days he gets off to work. That whole class issue of him being "the first one to go to [college]" kinda thing. Could be a fun to thing to write on my neverending list of plot bunnies...

Do regular common/farming folk have Surnames in Dragon Age? Or is that for Nobility/Dalish.

Welllllllllll actually, I suggested the fun of Cullen having a fear of horses, and writing my first fanfic about it. berelinde took the idea into horse-washing territory.

In the early middle ages there were no surnames (I think it might be true even for the noble, but I might be wrong on this). As for DA, I think so... there was some farmer or something in Redcliff... I don't remember.

Maybe it'll be like the Amell situation. He/she had a noble Surname, but was a Mage so it kinda counteracts things lol. So maybe Cullen has a Surname of a noble family, but is an Orphan. Or his family are of a disgraced noble family. Accomplishing respect through aiding the new protagonist would put the family back in good standing or something. Kinda like the Amell's in Kirkwall.

Apparently it's Gaider's birthday and he's not visiting the BSN today as a gift to himself.
Well, happy birthday anyway! Thanks for the DA world.

Tonia's leaving to go back to school to finish her degree, work on personal projects and spend time with her son. I hope she'll still drop by sometimes to say hi.
