The fact that he said "variety" sounds like a good sign, like there will be more than just 3 or 4 background  choices. Perhaps there will be several choices within in each tier. I wonder if the option to be an Amell will come back? I dunno if I'd pick that option or not. I may be inclined to avoid it if Cullen is a romancable companion lol.

Oh! Someone has been cleaning up that image of the triangle that Mark Darrah posted up. They asked him if they'd get in trouble if they posted up a cleaned up version, once they've finished editing it so that it's readable. I think I'll follow this guy.

Actually, I really like the idea of starting the game as a prisoner. The title is "Inquisition." Nobody said that it couldn't be pointed at our character.

Aeonar is the mages prison, supposed to be filled with demons or something and thats why people were scared of it.

Aeonar would be epic! That would definitely be a hard prison to break out of. And it is in a top-secret location somwhere in Ferelden, so could be it!

  Hmm, no idea. The codex entry just says it's  ancient but "structurally sound."

So, I can't believe i just spent so much time on this... but halloween has gotten me thinking of different looks for the dear Knight Captain. I suppose Round 1 was eeevviiil Cullen.

Not that different, really. It looks as if something is "off," but it's hard to place exactly what it is. I stared at the thing for a good 45 seconds before I realized that the missing "thing" was eyebrows. I'll post screenshots if I can boot my sister off of that computer for long enough.

It wound up being too much of a headache to do a Hawke face swap inside the mansion, so I used the Cullen morph as a preset in chargenmorph.xml. Quick trip to the Black Emporium to give him eyebrows and a goatee and he had facial hair. I can always go back to the Black Emporium, lose the goatee and take a screenie.
