What do you all think that Cullen would say if they bring that back for companions? I'm of the mind that they'd just write new dialogue for him if they decide to make him a companion as opposed to using the old, cut dialogue. I'm thinking like, a grumpy "as you wish" for de-selecting him, or something ...

I wonder why these Cullen threads keep popping up. Strangely enough, it's always from the anti-Cullen or Cullen-doubters. lol. I don't think many of us have made constant threads that ask for Cullen.

I kinda like Narcia's idea. "As you wish." But he sounds all uppity and cranky about it. Sorta like his "I will do my duty" voice  when he talks about how he  no longer knows if he follows the order or Meredith.

If you totaled the post count of the various hate threads that crop up on a daily basis, it would probably tie the post count of this thread. Even with Lola's images. Well, if they're looking for a controversial character choice, they found it.

Unfortunately the other threads will attract some negativity.  I find this thread very positive and honest and I do like the comments that people make.  

I cannot understand why there are Cullen haters.  I personally find him an incredibly complex character which is why I find him fascinating.  I have done so since I played as Fmage elf warden in DA:O.  I am part way through DA2 so I am very much looking forward to his future development!

Thanks! I am in year 4 (I assume this is Act 2?). I am halfway through the quests (I tend to do all of them). I am playing a male Mage this time and I am taking a pro-mage stance. I have tended to use Varric, Aveline and Anders a lot as my companions. But I am now taking Fenris along although he is anti-mage :-( I do like his voice.

Hi Newschmoo!

Taking Fenris along on a pro-mage playthrough makes perfect sense, especially if you're trying to rival him. I can get him up to almost 100% rivalry by the end of Act 1 even if I oppose slavers.

Ok, so recently Ray & Greg retired. We knew this would cause some people to think that BioWare was going to collapse, die, end whatever you want to call it. Initially we were not planning on discussing DA3 until next year, but to combat the rumors that we'd die off without Ray & Greg, we announced officially that DA3 was in the works (along with a new Mass Effect title and a new IP in development).

Since we announced it, we figured some fans would want to discuss it, so we opened a DA3 forum. We could have just let people talk in DA2 forums, but it is a different game, so we opened this to let you talk about DA3.

Simple really.

Yeah, I saw that. It makes sense, and I think it was the right move, especially after they burned us so hard on DA2 DLC (not talking about it for six months, only to announce, out of nowhere, that all DLC had been canceled). But it makes sense now why they won't tell us pretty much anything. Why would they announce a new game, open a forum for the game, then get all huffy when we ask for just the tiniest bit of information about the game? That's why lol

I guess it's time for me to stop lurking and actually participate. I don't understand all the Cullen hating that is so rampant on the main forum. Actually, I don't even check the main forum anymore because it's just a cesspit of negativity. I can always rely on the folks here to find all the juicy DA3 news, anyway.

The fact that they still think that calling someone homosexual is an insult shows their ignorance. On a more upbeat note if that were true I'd like to have sassy gay Hawke as my banner;). So has everyone seen/heard the news about the DA3: I screenshot? Apparently the game looks stunning.
