Quite frankly, I'm just getting a little tired of people trying to paint Cullen's fans as something they're not-- the only rude or crude behavior I've seen, in fact, has come from those people and not the fans. And more threads suggesting we shouldn't listen to them then threads by those fans asking for anything.

It's really heart warming to know that the devs recognize our good conduct, and aren't lumping us all in with the bad apples. I'm glad David Gaider's being such a stand up guy. Hits me right in the feels <3
Best Thread Ever, you guys!

I hope he is, but if he did, it's probably becaues he wants to, not because us "crazy" fans tell him to. I wonder where people get the idea that Cullen fans have that much influence over the writers.deuce985 wrote...
David must be writing Cullen in DA3...

I still think y'all are crazy.
But then that would hardly make you unique on these forums, even so.

Well, you got us there.
I think that's a prerequisite on the registration form, or was I the only one who checked off the crazy box?

At least us Cullen fans are more stable than the other Cullen fans.

There's an appropriate quote from Hawke here, I think:
"Varric, when did I ever give you the impression that I was turned OFF by crazy?"

I would just like to say I liked dannyboy's post earlier about Cullen's character and it sums up most of my thoughts too.
Re deuce985, if Cullen was not in DA:I I would be disappointed because I feel his story/journey is not over yet. With the story/theme given so far, he would fit in so well. However, I would still buy the game even if he wasn't in it as I have really enjoyed playing both DA games. Good stories, great characters!

This is the main reason I think he'll at least make an appearance in Inquisition. He's one of the few characters in the games who has firsthand experience of the best and the worst of both the mages and templars, in very extreme situations. He's dealt with honorable templars and insane ones, maleficars and genuinely good mages alike. He's been through (potentially) two Rights of Annulment, and those happen on average twice a century at most. He brings a unique perspective to the conflict.

Thanks again. I think we all recognize the crazy. It's the ridicule we don't like from all the other kettles. I mean, we're not that black in comparison! Plus we're nicer here. So... like maybe we're a shade of grey... ? LMAO
Heh... those references aren't getting old any time fast, are they? LOL
