For a demon he looks rather jolly. He looks like he is on stage to an adoring crowd and throwing a rose out to someone. Almost like pantomime! I have seen a video showing the  Frostbite engine on another game. Looks great.

I think they use Frostbite 2 on Mirrors Edge, I've not seen any gameplay footage of it though.

Battlefield 3 has Frostbite 2. I saw the video online (and it's on Youtube) and it did look good (although it's not really the kind of game I go for. I'm rubbish at first person shooters!)

Update for myself. I cut my hair, Yayz!, it's about the same length as my Amell in my pic there.
Uhmm, I got my pc up and running, finally, so that means I can start working on my fics again. Big YAY! because I've been getting lots of reviews and I feel bad that I haven't been able to do anything with any of it.

Also, hubby got me an early xmas gift, and android pad! So that means I can check in here more regularly once more! YAY!

Me too, I have a crap aim lol.

I wonder if DA3 will look sort of like Battlefield 3 with more realistic looking environments and characters, or if they'll tweak things to make it look a bit like DA2 with the slightly cartoony appearance.

I also wonder if reoccurring characters and cameos will have another makeover like they did from DA:O to DA2, or if they'll look roughly the same as DA2 but more polished and only slightly different due to the engine change. I could've sworn I read somewhere that they wanted to stick with DA2's art style, but I can't remember where. Maybe I imagined it or something.

I wouldn't know one engine from another, which is why you make the games and I play them!

Mirror's Edge has really sparse and stylized environments anyway. It probably wouldn't be the best comparison for DA3 even if they were on the same engine. Fun game though : )
