It's either something to do with Enchantment, or cheese wheels. That's my guess

Lola - YES! I grew up on the Canadian border and it seeps through there as well. The only reason I didn't catch it is because "eh" was over powered by my Polish grandmother's "ya?".

Nope. I'm pretty bland... unless I'm angry and Hulk out and can't control it. Only then can you really hear that western NY / Great Lakes. I've lived in a few different parts of the country so I'm fairly non-regional at this point.LolaLei wrote...

Mines your basic English accent, so I sound like I'm from Ferelden lol.

There's some kind of voodoo going on with Scottish accents. One of my kid's day care teachers was Scottish and I swear that woman could read me the phone book and I'd fall in love.littlenikki wrote...

Lola - Same almost goes for the English accent. (Not the sloppy ones) It's ridiculously soothing to me. You could probably tell me to bugger off in the rudest way possible and I'd be like "Oh, ok. Thanks!"

LOL! You guys, it's the Scots who say "aboot":P it's not really like Bob and Doug Mckenzie.
Lola, anytime you hear an American say "huh" at the end of a sentece, just replace it with "eh". That's the most common usage I would say. It kinda drives me crazy when I'm playing a game and the subtitles read something like "Nice weather, eh?" and the US actors inevitably say "huh" instead:pinched: That or they don't know how to say it and it comes out "eh" as in "meh". It happens more than you'd think!
Seriously though, languages and dialects are fun

I bet they do. My bro-in-law is from the London area and it's just adorable. I have no idea how my sister can honestly hold an arguement with the man and not giggle and give in immediately.LolaLei wrote...

We get it Nicky. We're just not exotic enough for you up here:(
I realized when I was playing through with Sebastian in my party, I really wanted to hear a thicker Scottish accent. OH! That reminds me I was playing through my backlog of games last week and I had Greg Ellis in my party doing a very entertaining Scottish accent  Rogue Galaxy for PS2.
