LOL! You guys, it's the Scots who say "aboot":P it's not really like Bob and Doug Mckenzie.

Lola, anytime you hear an American say "huh" at the end of a sentece, just replace it with "eh". That's the most common usage I would say.  It kinda drives me crazy when I'm playing a game and the subtitles read something like "Nice weather, eh?" and the US actors inevitably say "huh" instead:pinched: That or they don't know how to say it and it comes out  "eh" as in "meh".  It happens more than you'd think!
Seriously though, languages and dialects are fun :)

LIES! Bob and Doug are gods and you will now be smited... smote? Smoted? Whatev... you're right. LOL

Hey, Hey, I love Bob and Doug! Strange Brew will always have a strange place in my heart. Also their rendition of the twelve days of christmas. A beer in a tree, indeed

LOL Narcia... Entertaining because his Scottish accent was bad?

No, I was rather impressed actually. I didn't recognize him at first, and I have a pretty good ear. Nothing like his Cullen voice, of course ^_^

edit for my bad spelling

Well, if it was the Johnson rap...

Seriously, the things Greg Ellis talks about in that game! Never did I expect to hear him talking about having a ****** and shagging demon girls up the arse. All in his Cullen voice. Best. Thing. Ever!

That'd be fun to see. So long as it doesn't draw out like Leliana's... although, to be fair.... if she were Cullen I probably wouldn't be complaining. It'd be coined "romantic" then . lol

I dunno, it might be kinda cheesy hearing Cullen sing. Unless he was caught singing to himself or something...

I think they'd be QUITE hard pressed to come up with a scenario for that, but I certainly wouldn't object ^_^

I didn't mind Leliana's song, and you could skip it if you wanted to. I would never think they'd do something like that for Cullen, though. At most I think singing to himself, like Lola suggested, or some chant or something.

Btw Mirrors Edge was done in Unreal, Frostbite though gives much love to our art team.

I watched a seminar by DICE and they talked about this. The engine was streamlined so work could be done faster and more simultaneous design. They really reflected this on the artists saying instead of taking weeks to complete a task, they could do it in a day.

I've been amazed by Frostbite and I can't wait to see what Bioware does with it. I've longed said DICE has some of the best programmers and the best engine in the industry, IMO. BF3 looks amazing on my PC.

This would be the only way that wouldn't seem douchey. He's not a bard so I don't know if he'd be up for a show. Accidentally coming across him singing to himself while polishing his armor or something would be the way to go.

Maybe they'd all go out and get drunk and we'd be treated to a pub song!

I'm really bad when it comes to your standard American accent and any Canadian accent, I can't tell them apart at all. :-S

Yeah, I don't think Cullen would be showy like Leliana, but I could see getting caught singing to himself, or maybe some really sad moment and he sings something really mournful, like at a funeral or some part of the Chant ata chantry service.

I read a fanfic where Sebastian sang at a Satinalia party ... And it was awesome...

Here to report in: the Breaking Dawn movie (if you've read the books) will throw you off. It was actually kind of good.

Now Back to Cullen..

Don't feel bad. It varies from place to place. I know my accent has been influenced by my husband's family a little. I believe VampOrchid has some French or Quebecois influence too, isn't that right?

I heard recently (because we were watching the new Red Dwarf!) that Robert Llewellyn was trying to sound like he was from Vancouver for Kryten's accent  I sure wouldn't have guessed.
