Soooo what happens if it turns out that Cullen is a companion/LI and he's a gentleman? How strange would that be watching him being all... Gentlemanly lol.
PC: What are you doing?
Cullen: Um...holding the door open for you?
PC:
What is wrong with you!?! *stomps off* Pervert!
LOL This is awesome. I totally see him being a gentleman, sorta like Alistair's sensibilities toward women... but without the jokiness. It would be hilarious for the PC to get jealous if he does that sorta thing (holds door, drapes cloak over puddle) for someone else... and he's totally baffled by her reaction. That would be cute. It could dovetail with what we've talked about with him only really knowing about relationships from books... ahem. But this time perhaps his knowledge is only based on the courtly love tales as opposed to the more salacious ones. LOL
PC: Cullen, what are doing? You know I've been waiting for you...
C: Um... nothing...
PC: Are you... writing something?
C: Erm, perhaps. *PC snatches it away* Hey!
PC: Cullen, what is this?? A... a... poem??
C: *blushes* S-sort of.
PC: So... when I invited you to, erm, stop by my tent earlier and you said you were busy, it was because of THIS?
C: . . .
PC: So instead of *spending*time* with me, you would rather... what? read me a poem?
C: Weeeelll, I... I was actually going to sing it...
PC: . . .
PC: In my tent, ten minutes! . . . Bring the poem.
edit: LOL

'd by Sable! Yeah, agree that there are overtones of Alistair, but without Alistair's natural tendency to joke about everything, it still could be new and endearing. Particularly if Cullen seems out of his depth with relationships, but so emininently capable and professional in everything else.
