Although, I have to say, art/animation did a stand up job in DA2. The characters moved so naturally to me.
The way they moved. The way they "noticed" your PC. They seemed more aware. Very lil if any thousand mile NPC stare.
The PC itself I found to be very easy to move around. Very natural.
And no Michael Jackson eyeballs.
I agree completely. Didn't understand what everyone's complaints about DAII's aesthetic were about. The graphics were about 100% better than DA:O's, and some different-looking elves and qunari don't necessarily constitute a new art style.
The BSN community: finding shhhtuff to complain about since the dawn of Bioware.
I have to confess, I still think that the new art style combined with the textures made the DA2 characters faces look a little weird and rubbery. I joke about their sausage lips sometimes

It's all in good fun though. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing the new graphics!
Re: Origins vs DA2, both of them had some really great elements, and I appreciated both the more strategic combat and the more fast paced hack and slash. Origins really sucked me in though. The role playing and character interactions combined with the various outcomes made me want to replay it instantly <3 I certainly had no issue with a slient protagonist. With DA2, I found the role playing a little less immersive. I very much enjoyed it, to be sure, but I felt that I was playing Garrett and Marian Hawke's story, and it felt a little less individual to me.
The melding of styles in three makes me very curious, and I'm sure I'll enjoy the story
