LOL Narcia! Yes, the mole IS there. Yup... we've discussed it all on the Cullen thread! There's a comparison pic floating around somewhere that shows it, but very faintly. I like to think it got nicked... like in a fight or while shaving or something. LOL


edit  for ToP:  A comparison of Cullens, where I think the lighting was tweaked to try to compare hair color (inside vs. outside, etc). Not quite so far off!

Narcia - I loaded up real quick, and Cullen does seem to use his companion sound files. Lots of grunting, and I heard "This I do for Andraste!"

The teeth were hideous in DA:O lol, I guess it's accurate for medieval-esc settings.

That is a good point though, yay, now (again) I have hope that we'll see something! It can be a small flash of swords and magic and I'll be happy.
..yet more happy if Cullen was narrating the trailer, mmhmm.

Maybe it'll be one of those teasers trailers that just shows you sh!t getting real, no protagonist or companions, just lots of flashy scenes of super cool stuff happening lol.

I can't recall if it was in a tweet or in one of the threads, but apparently she'll show up at least briefly. Maybe she'll swoop down and rescue our protagonist again?

Were the DA:O ears better than DA2's?

And goodness, Cullen's hair is so nice looking..lol, so golden. 

His lips look nicer in DA2, in DA:O they looked all chapped or something..

Ah, yes! I remember the colour comparison, but somehow I missed the mole (now freckle) among his stubble. When Lola brought it up before, I had it in my head that it was a pic from the type of mod we'd been discussing, not actually from DA2. Don't know what I was thinking 

Right Lola, he does look much healthier having had the chance to get some fresh air.

edit:  Shades, I thought the ears were better in DA:O. That pic happens to be from when they introduce Cullen in DA2 (I'm pretty sure) so I think they paid special attention to his appearance. I may not have thought the ears in Origins were beautiful or anything, but they creeped me out in 2 on more than one occasion. Shallow, hacked up bits of a latex mask *shudder*

Looking at that comparison, I can't work out why anyone would think DA:O's character designs looked better than DA2's. Ok, so some of the past companions came out looking a little odd, but over all they look more realistic than they did in DA:O.

Probably just what they'd gotten used to. The colour palette in DA2 seemed a lot brighter as well. I'm sure it also makes a difference to compare them in motion rather than a still picture.

Alistair actually didn't look too shabby at all in the right light. Someone posted a picture of him that they'd head swapped with Anders and he actually looks very close to his DA:O model.

Yeah she left a little while back because she wanted to concerntrate on her own writing and her family etc. She came in here to say goodbye on the day she left.

Also, kinda concerning she left in the middle of writing a major plot. But I guess if they had one thing I'd never worry about at Bioware, it would be writers.
