Morrigan says that Flemeth needs to "acquire" new bodies, as the one she inhabits does age and become weaker the longer she's in it. Eventually, she'd be walking around all decayed and boney, which just sounds like a horrid way to blend in, even for an ancient abomination

I'd say Flemeth helps when things start to affect her. At least, that's how it seemed to me. Like she rescued the Warden and Alistair because the Darkspawn would have taken over all of Thedas, which in turn affects her. And because she can forsee things, she knew eventually the Warden would come to kill her, and therefore, rescued Hawke and gave the locket to her/him in order to bring her back to life. I could also mention the books but I don't want to give away things to people who haven't read them yet.

Yeah... my only point was that we don't really know if this is true or not. There are lots of hints that Morrigan doesn't really know what's going on either... since we don't truly know if that grimoire told the truth. Flemeth in DA2 sorta hints at this, and so does Yavana in Silent Grove  (sorry -- spoilers again! ) .

I'm assuming a lot of the conversation between her and Maric is being revealed in the comics...I think. I havent read them but my cousin has and I think that's what she said. However, I know a tiny part of the conversation is revealed in The Calling. I'm assuming mainly because it needed to be revealed for the sake of the plot of that book.

Hey guys. I've been reading and enjoying the posts but not participating much. Been busy what with the holiday and stuff. But now I'll be heading back out in my truck in a couple of hours and I want to say goodbye before I leave this time. Didn't have the chance last time so... *shrug* I'll miss you all! *sniffs* I wanted to have my Cullen drawing done in time to post before going but, alas... 'twas not to be. Can't wait for the day I can afford better toys! hehehe...

You don't get to find out what Flemeth told Maric in The Stolen Throne. You find out only a small bit in The Calling. And I am assuming the rest will be revealed here and there in the comics as they go. Sneaky David Gaider!! lol

You really should read The Stolen Throne. I believe that one was the best one, tho I like the rest of them too. You really get to know Maric and Loghain in that book.

Thanks for the recommendation!  For some reason, I bought it but I can't get past the first ten pages or so... Maybe that will be incentive enough for me to finally push through. I do sorta wish I'd read them in order, instead of in exactly reverse chronological order! I'll bet some parts would make more sense that way. LOL

Ugh, boy howdy! I watched a disturbing 'Sam Jackson as baby' commercial for it today... made me realize I prob don't want to watch the whole thing if I don't have to...  Does that make me a bad gamer...? 

I dunno. I used to think we'd see something at the VGAs, but the fact that evil Chris and others have been very explicit about nothing else new until Spring, even give it a timeline, I don't think bodes well. But, it's their only VGAs before release, if they're on schedule...
