Mmm....

Cullen leaves the Chantry for ethical reasons but in order to support his lyrium addiction he takes a job at the Blooming Rose. My character intercepts him and becomes his sugar mama. We live happily ever after in my sex dungeon - the end!

OK, this one got me thinking and then writing. Not really a DA3 example, since it features Hawke and not our new nameless PC, but I needed a character. So, here's a short, melodramatic blurb I posted over on my tumblr since it's not the most polished thing I've ever written.

That is very well written! And poignant. You can really "see" how they feel. You make emotional, descriptive scenes seem effortless. *claps* :wub:<3

Ha ha! Yes! I think the story came from the part of my brain that's writing a more broken Cullen right now. I could see him making some similar arguments as he's trying to become again the morally upstanding man he was at the end of Act 3. I've been trying to imagine how it will all end, and I've been flirting with the idea of him becoming a  big cheese in the reformation/rebuilding period. But, I couldn't figure out how to get my happy ending...  or at least, happy-enough. This was helpful in imagining the possibilities now. Hmm. I may end up borrowing part of it for my ending now.

But, I think one thing's true, manipulative or not, I'd still hit that one last time.

Hey all! I just popped in to give my support for Cullen in DA3 as a companion and romanceable.

I really want to see this happen. Not only because he's hot, but also because I think he's a great character with alot of varying motivations to work with.

I do worry about the lyrium thing. Hopefully it won't be a big issue. I'm hoping if he is in DA3, he won't be too....broken. After Anders and Fenris, I could really go for an LI that isn't sooo...very, very...

I also hope he has the same voice actor. And they don't change his face up too much. Good luck with the crusade!

If anyone is interested, I also started posting a new short story that takes place three years after my Hawke/Cullen opus, "Knight's Bloom." It's called "Catch a Dragon By the Toe" and focuses on their son, with a little Hawke/Cullen parenting thrown in.

Summary: When Hawke & Cullen's son sneaks away to meet a mysterious friend, he never imagined the secrets his friend might be  hiding or the danger he might pose.

Edit: That Cullen-Dad confession... Hoooo boy! Real life Cullen? Yes please! Although it makes me wonder who modeled for him. Or was it a combination of faces? To me he looks a lot like Paul Walker (of course) but I also see a strong resemblance between GE and him as well. So I'm confused. But that hardly matters; if I'd met a real life Cullen, I'd probably die of embarrassment after gawking at him openly and calling him Cullen. hehehe^_^
