Yea, was at a friends house and we were making fudge and drinking Sangria. I'm not much of a wine drinker, but that stuff was delicious! You tend to forget there is alcohol in there...when it's ALL alcohol

To be honest, I prefer that the firstlook will be actual gameplay, shared with the fans, as opposed to some superslick CGI trailer directed at the rest of the world. Does that make me sound entitled??

Ah well I knew there wouldn't be one (she says after the fact). I mean I still stand by my statement that DA is nowhere near as huge as ME3 so I don't see it getting a release like the VGAs which are televised. More likely to debut at a con or something.

Also they initially weren't even planning to tell us about DA3 until much much later.

I think I'm still the only one who prefers trailers because I'm sure the game play will be fine but I just want to feel inspired and excited by some cool animated scene

Y'know, that's a great point. The DAII trailer didn't really tell us much about the game. In fact, if anything, it confused me more, since
A.) we weren't allowed to use that ripping-apart blood magic spell anyway, and
B.) I really thought the Arishok was a new type of darkspawn and not a qunari.

Buuuuuut.... the trailer did give me a wicked case of the fan-tingles, and I guess that's what I was really hoping for last night. I knew they wouldn't give us anything concrete, but (*sigh*) the fan tingles....!!!

No, don't get me wrong, I actually prefer the slick trailers, too...  Particularly Destiny trailer m!Hawke... meow... My point was more the audience. I'd prefer them share something with us here before targeting the less faithful.

yes, good point. Honestly, even a title card that said "DAIII: Inquisition"  and a black screen with just the words, "Expect it. 2014."  I would've been over the moon.
