It would be weird seeing him with anything but his trademark goatee and short curly hair.
Yes and being mentally and philosophically broken is no reason to lapse on one's personal hygiene habits
Precisely LOL, Cullen's gotta keep himself looking fresh for the ladies!
And men! (Especially the men!)

Do you guys think Cullen is a good wing man or....bad? I myself have been known to be a great wing man....as long as I'm not blindsided by my bro duties.
Hm, I dunno. Depends on his wing man duties. I think he'd be crap at helping you win over a hot piece of ass, but he'd be good in a fight lol.

Wingman rule number 1, don't have a wingman that is more attractive than you since you may get compared, and he may steal all the ladies.Danny Boy 7 wrote...

p.s. "You" here is not referred to you, Danny, specifically, but in a general sense since I don't really know how you look.

Blasphemy, Duncan is born with his beard. There would be no Duncan without a beard. It's an oxymoron. There is no such a thing as a beardless Duncan.LolaLei wrote...

Battlebloodmage I totally headcanon Cullen with long hair, post imprisonment. He's in a story I'm writing ... That my short story Trust was from. Sigh. Would love to see good fanart of a long haired Cullen. LOL

If I'd known we wouldn't have anything DA-related at last night's VGA's, I would have probably had a few drinks too. LOL!
(I laugh to hide the pain)
To be honest, I prefer that the firstlook will be actual gameplay, shared with the fans, as opposed to some superslick CGI trailer directed at the rest of the world. Does that make me sound entitled??![]()
Hey All!
Sounds like a great time was had even though there was no DA3 news on the VGAs. I'm sorry to have missed it.
Re: new game trailers, the first time I heard of DA:O, I was at a trade show, and I was being bombarded by trailers for various games. It was the sacred ashes trailer which had very nice CG, but didn't tell me anything about the game, other than it was a fantasy game. In fact, at the time, I thought it might be another mmo trailer. I don't play mmo games (too much like work). I really would have liked to see some gameplay at the time. I'm sure it would have been much more memorable. I didn't actually get around to playing it until shortly after the release of DA2. On the plus side, I didn't spoil myself on the story, so I got to enjoy it fully.
As for DA2, the intro cinematic loop is pretty cool, but the way the story was structured, and the box art made me feel a bit "okay, so I'm playing this Hawke guy, who's obviously a mage instead of my own character ..." Whereas "warden" was a title, Hawke was my character's name, and the human I'm supposed to play.
I'll have to make sure I don't get too spoiled about inquisition, so that I can get the most out if it, too. I suppose it will be easier buying it at launch before everyone's written faqs or uploaded all the cutscenes to youtube. lol

Phantom Pain or something like that? Yea, that game looked pretty cool, though I was confused for most of the time.

Cullen Origin Story Challenge! (courtesy of Shades of Pale)
OK
folks let's plan on writing up a short "thing" imagining Cullen's
background/origin story. It can be a story or just a description. Let's
shoot for less than 1000 words to keep them manageable for writers and
readers. If it's less than 500, you can just post it here. Otherwise,
post it elsewhere and link, such as from a blog entry here on BSN or
tumblr or fanfiction.net (if it's a story) or wherever.
How long
would folks want? I reckon we'd only need 1-2 weeks, but with the
holidays coming, should we share for New Years?
