Here's a new question for you all:

If Cullen is a companion/LI in DA3, what kind of companion quests would you like to see available to him and how many? Also, would you like to see romance quests too? If so what ideas do you have for them, give examples I like reading them.

That's a good question.... maybe you have to sneak back into Kirkwall to get some kind of evidence for Cullen to clear his name or to prove that it wasn't the Templars that started the uprising. (It would be the oposite if you were trying to clear a mage maybe?) A romance quest would be fun too if it's not too cheesy. Avaline's personal quest was fun - the first time. After that it was tedious to me. (But to be fair, there were quite a few things that seemed tedious after doing them more than once or twice.) You know what might be fun? If you had to do a quest without any companions. Maybe you're sneaking around trying to figure out what Cullen is up to one night because he's acting shady. Then you get to the end and find out he's trying to surprise you with something lovely.

As a side note: I know I've brought up 50 Shades of Grey already but I've finally gotten about 1/2 way through it (steamy!). I read on wiki that it started as a Twilight FANFIC! I had no idea. Get to work ladies... there's gold in them there hills! lol

Oooo I like those ideas! The romance quest would tie in well with your following him idea, perhaps we'd track him one evening to find out what he's up-to after his strange behaviour, only to find him looking out at some awesome view of the sea or a lake, you question him about what's wrong and he tells you it's the anniversary of the Broken Circle event (or the anniversary of your female Mage Wardens death if you sacrificed her) or something like that.

I'd like to see our character helping Cullen break into a high security Seeker headquarters to steal private documents or some equally illegal, it would be fun to see him breaking the law for once. Either way, whatever they do with the companion quests I hope they aren't boring like the DA2 quests were, it was all about fighting your way through waves of enemies, which gets dull fast..

Agreed, I'd really like to see a few instances where you'd have to use your charm or quick wit to get through some situations rather than just automatically hacking through people.

I've been playing DA2 again and I decided to hang around the Gallows listening to people talk. A few Templars (including Samson) mention that before Meredith took over the Gallows the Mages and Templars would work together to avoid blood magic and Demons. One of the codex's also mentions how a lot of Templars are now hired for their prejudice again Mages rather than their moral code etc. it makes me wonder if Lord Seeker or whoever is in charge is a corrupt, power hunger zealot purposely seeking to change the Order to do more harm than good... Perhaps something like that will come into play in DA3.

Yeah, I think that's another reason why DA2 didn't do as well as DA:O.

The Lord Seeker figures prominently in Asunder. That makes sense.

Yeah, that's why I find the phenomenon particularly interesting. A spotlight on fanfic! I didn't know was originally Twilight, tho. Hilarious! Of course, since it was fanfic... not so surprised that it's so steamy. LOL Nice to see it get some props.

This is completely unrelated to Cullen but how awesome is Emile de Launcet! I decided to make him go back to the Gallows but I let him have his wicked way with one of the bar staff first, the stuff that guy comes out with is genius! I hope he shows up in DA3!

D'aw, talking to Cullen during the Enemies Among Us quest, he sounds all serious and professional until he mentions the brothel and the "young ladies" from the Blooming Rose, then he suddenly sounds very young and shy again, just like he did during the Circle Origins with Amell/Surana. Ah, he needs to be a companion/LI in DA3! I desperately want to interact with him in a non-professional manner.
