It's like ME2. I had romanced Kaidan and went into ME2 blind. My FemShep was looking all over for him. Then finally! And then she suffered the "cut direct" from him. It was great.

Going into a game completely unknowing is really the best way. That, however, may be beyond my capabilities. The mere mortal that I am.

Just as long as it's nothing tricky like...Cullen is in, but doesn't show up until half way thru, or some such. And if you romanced someone else, or flirted, you can't romance him now. >_>

I also would like a nice brunette male companion for a change.

Well who here only plays the games ONCE? lol I'd just enjoy my current romance and grab Cullen the second go-round.

DG posted yet another tumblr post about characters. His tone is always so mean lol I feel like he's yelling at me every time I read his posts. And I Just wanna be like, but David, I'm one of your biggest fans, why are you yelling at me *cry*

Though I still disagree about Isabela's lack of pants.... and the comparison to Varric's chest doesn't work. Because it's not unusual for a person/character to reveal his/her chest. That character is attempting to express that s/he is provocative, laid back, sexy, etc. But how many people walk around without pants?

I've always found Cullen's character interesting but Bioware never dives into his development much.

I thought it was kinda funny that back in DAO he showed feelings for my female mage(or at least hinted at it). I'm not a huge fan of the Templars to be honest but Cullen seems like a character of how I envision the Templars to run themselves. Mages need regulation of some sort but you have to be liberal in how you treat them. I think Cullen is very neutral and heady. He understands the perspective from both sides. Some Templars are just absolutely brutal. It's not wonder mages resort to forbidden magic when they're backed into a corner. What would you do?

But yes, I think an organization like Templars should exist but how they're managed isn't the proper way currently. Some Circles seem to have great Templar overseers. I really do believe Cullen will play a big role in DA3. Whether he's a companion or not, he will have his role. He was at the center of the Warden and Hawke's story. Two of the most important characters in Thedas. Maybe it's destiny or fate?

Have any of guys/girls played the Walking Dead game? I love it. I only have one episode left. I don't know what it is like to be a father but I know that game makes me feel like one. Is that weird? All I want to do is protect poor little Clemantine's innonence in such a vile world. Avoiding spoilers, every choice I've made in that game is to preserve her innonence. It's so hard. The choices have so much grey in them. How do you explain certain things to a child in that world and not corrupt her? Poor little Clemantine! And episode 5 seems to be setup for a lot of emotion...I think I might cry when it's over.

I usually play a total dick in games like this my first time through because the reactions are always hilarious. I just couldn't do it in Walking Dead...

Agree. We really learn so little about him that I do hope we get to learn more. He's such the perfect mechanism to learn more about why the Templar Order is the way it is, since he's a believer. Even more so if the Order goes wonky and Cullen questions his continuing allegiance to it.

Plus... he's still got some splaining to do after all that Ser Alrik stuff...

16 playthroughs for Origins and 8 for DA2 For $60 I want replayability.


I kind of understand where DG is coming from.   He probbaly gets so much crap from the fans who have a bad case of self entitlement.

Like, how I feel better now that I never understood why Sten was supposed to be all about cookies and Alistair about cheese! I also love Isabela and love that he mentioned the bechdel test. I'm torn on the pants. She doesn't need them for protection, but... I find I still have a knee jerk negative reaction to the come-hitherness of her outfit. But I think that's my own issue and not hers, since she can dress how she likes.

But no pants? Who does not wear pants?? Is she going swimming? Does she have IBS and wants as little obstruction between her and the toilet as possible??

It is just ridiculous

Yeah I can't even imagine  When I get a message from YT saying someone responded to a comment I made, 90% of the time I can't force myself to read it because I know it will just be insults and abuse, even if my comment was something innocuous like "I love this movie!" or "I totally agree!"

I imagine THAT times a thousand is what DG deals with on a daily basis.

Bwahahaha!  yeah, I know what you mean. Who knows. Maybe it's hot-weather Rivaini pirate thing... altho, in the comic she changes into more clothes on her ship. It does supply ease of movement.

David still cracks me up. He's so snarky. He's sassy and blunt. Not afraid to tell you what time of night it is.

However, I do not detect a mean-spirit in there. On occasion his rapier tongue mayhap nick a few innocent bystanders..but I can't say I'm innocent of that, meself. Hey, I am forever work in progress. Sigh!

He seems like he's cool ppl. He gets pissed off sometimes, but he doesn't strike me as a mean spirited person.

But oh, I wonder what was dropped for Meredith? She was n interesting character. And I could understand where she was coming from..at first. Then she got all wonky. Everybody went all crazy spontaneous combustion like.

My poor Hawke. All she wanted by then was to fight her way out of crazy town w/her crew intact. Neither I, nor my Hawke ever felt like this was truly our fight. All of Kirkwall felt like one giant dysfunctional family. Dragging you into their madness, and trying to force you to pick sides.

It would be nice if everywhere I flip on TV didn't talk about the "Mayan Calendar Prophecy" and the apocalypse. You know, that so called "prediction" that the end of the world happens on the 21st. So much misinformation on that subject. They never predicted the end of the world...why do all these documentary episodes run with that? I don't understand it.
