Guys, question: When do you capitalize Chantry? I had read on the wiki that you use lower case to refer to the chantry building, but otherwise when referring to the organization you capitalize. But now I'm confused... and of course the dialogue on the wiki is all over the place on capitalization. The Sebastian short story capitalizes Chantry in every case.

Thoughts??

I treat it like I would treat the word "church": lower case for the building, capitalized for the institution, capitalized in proper names. "Make a left by Hightown Chantry. It isn't like the chantry in Denerim. You really can't miss it."

The in-game dialogue uses the lower-case noun from time to time, especially in DA:O.

Ah well you got me on the canon bit for sure. I'd actually forgotten that they weren't since I haven't had anything actually conflict with my story's canon. As for her being in a book both Kahlee Sanders and Kai Leng had previously only been in the Mass Effect books prior to their appearances in ME3 so maybe she'll be the leader or maybe as I said in my post she'll be...er well not:pinched:

You know you guys reminded me of Fenyriel and how popular he is. I personally can't completely see it myself. I like his role as a dreamer and would really like to understand what you guys like about him because I have these ideas of how awesome he could look in a DA game but say if I were going to fan fic his character I need some help there. I hope this doesn't sound like you guys have to defend yourselves to me, I'm honestly just curious because when I'd heard why some of you disliked a certain elf it made me really think about the character and while I still like said elf it made me dislike the portrayal but hopeful for a better follow up.

I don't think a lot of people actually like Feynriel as a character/person (I know I don't) but are more interested in his canonically unique powers and how likely it seems that someone like him will return.

Also, his being made tranquil was a crucial decision for Hawke to make, and as I understand it, tranquil and what that means and how it works plays a big part in Asunder.

I can't say that I dislike any of them enough to be particularly angry about them, but I definitely found in DA2 that the characters grew on me more after a few playthroughs.

I watch the show too but it has really inconsistent writing/writers. The game is better than the show lol. I certainly wouldn't call Walking Dead a high quality show even though I like it enough to watch each week. Now, if you asked me about something like Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, American Horror Story, or Homeland...that's high quality.

Arya, Tyrion, and Daenerys for me. Do you read the books? I've read the first two. Is it weird I won't read the next book before season 3?

I read the first two when they first came out. I think I was in high school. I tried to pick them up again after the HBO show started, but I didn't really enjoy Martin's writing.

Soooo I'm starting to think that the survey leak and the whole protagonist as the Inquisitor might actually be legit after all. Take a look at this thread (ignore the first bit about the red eye crap and skip to the pictures of the concept art from both the Edmonton Expo and the leaked survey):

If that's the default male/female protagonist then he/she seems to appear in the first two pieces of concept art wearing the same red cloak as the two (possible) protagonist pictures in the leaked survey. Also, in the german version of the leaked survey the story description it says: "Take the Inquisitor's cloak and lead the only force able of bringing light into the darkness" - and sure enough, both the concept art from the survey leak AND the Edmonton Expo concept show have a mysterious figure wearing a cloak.

Now, I'm not claiming it's 100% gospel truth, but it's beginning to seem more than just a bunch of coincidences.

I think there's a lot of love for Cullen out there; we just forget about it because of the BSN's nastiness....

Edit: Danny, to answer your question about Fenriel, I don't like him as in like him but rather, I want to see what his fate has been and I know if he were to be involved in DA3 that his presence would make for some knock out story moments.
