You know....looking at the encyclopedia....both of my LI from Origins and DA2 are on the first couple pages....mwahahaha my canon dominance is growing......sorry I feel extra woozy, work is getting to me.

Lol yeah. Morrigan looks great and Isabela looks good for a cube being if a bit light skinned for a Rivaini but meh it's not a bad thing lol.

Lol sorry about Zev. I was just bringing up the LI's who tend to be...I wanna say considered canon by a good portion of the fans (not that Zev isn't but Alistair seems to get all the love) and because people are so divided on the Senders (Anders/Fenris/Sebastian) discussion for our Lady!Hawkes

After reading Gaider's comments in the thread link, is anyone else nervous about the fate of their Warden & Hawke's LI's?

Don't get me wrong, I don't mind that the LI's are bound to go off and do their own thing etc, they can't be expected to remain joined at the hip, but I think I'd be a bit gutted is Alistair ditched my Warden (or visa versa)... although what with the comics and everything I'm half expecting him to end up being made King or something if Anora gets bumped off or whatever.

I didn't even realise that Leliana did break up with the Warden (if you dated her), I thought they were just off having individual adventures and then she lost track of him/her when the Warden disappears. :-S

Yeah I've seen that comment by him before. It reminds me that he said in his tumblr that it's best if he doesn't engage people on the BSN because the snark comes out basically. It does sound a lot colder than he probably means it. It's kind of heartless to say, basically, "This character that you fell in love with, that we wrote so exceptionally well and convinced you would be together with your Warden/Hawke forever and ever... yeah, forget that, s/he's ours now, MWAHAHAHA!"

If they really do mean that your LI can break up with our previous PC at their descretion, then, well, that is just really quite mean. If the LI aspect is not that important to them, then they shouldn't make the romances so exceptionally well-written and engrossing. I'm not going to be upset if my elf's husband ditches him in the next Skyrim sequel or whatever lol I WILL be upset if I discover Fenris cheated on Hawke and left him high and dry, just because the writers had different plans for him than what was implied by the ending THEY originally wrote ("Everyone left Hawke's side... except Fenris, of course" etc. etc... and there is the whole thing about Fenris clearly falling in love with Hawke and basically devoting himself to him/her.... an aspect of his character and romance that I'm SURE is also reflected in the characters and romances of the other three LI).

Man would I be upset...I'd probably sit in a fetal position, rocking back forth, "they are still together, they are still together."

But, what else would they do with Alistair? I suppose it depends on his ending.

So I'm a little bummed. Date night was canceled, but meh more time with you guys.

It might simply be people's opinions. They seem to think Leliana broke up with a mage warden, potentially because said Warden could be with Mage Rebellion or whatever. Idk if I'm right though.

I romanced Isabela and I never thought about it much, but I always imagined that my Hawke was just laying low and warming her bed while she adventured.

Isabela: So you want to go adventuring with me, Varric and that king we met?

Hawke: *tosses copy of DA2 to Isabela* I'm good for a while...

I just sort of tossed it up to him being on the boat or off doing something while she sailed around.

I don't read them, mostly because I'm not into comics but partly because Alistair is King in the comics and I kept mine as a Warden. I see the comics as Gaider's version of the "DA universe" with the choices he would've made in them.
