Yeah, I don't really like the appearance mods as much, since I love all the existing DA2 models. But I can see it for fun and variety, or to hearken back to the DA:O models and such.
And... yeah, I thought Cullen and Sebastian were just about peeeerfect! Plus, Isabela. I just think she's smokin'!

Something I really like about BioWare games, is that none of the characters are glamorously attractive. I find in a lot of games, particularly when it comes to the women that they're all running around with perfect hair and makeup and all look like they've just come off the catwalk rather than a bloodied battle. But in BioWare games, even though the companions are often attractive, they're not "perfect" looking. Especially in Dragon Age games, they all look a little dirty and rough around the edges, which I really like.
I dunno, Cullen and Alistair are pretty damn perfect looking to me
Alistair's brown teeth in DA:O... although to be fair everyone had brown teeth in DA:O LOL! In DA:O Cullen was actually pretty old looking, in DA2 for some reason he turned out ridiculously pretty... I often wonder why they do that, or if it was just a complete fluke. I think maybe he's an exception to the rule!
Shhhhh! He's perfect in every way!
I was looking at the Alistair artwork in the comics earlier. It's weird because it looks like him but he seems more badass, like his goofiness has gone. I've not read the comics though so that's probably not the case.

Oh yeah, Sebastian! His eyes! His hair! He is so lovely, granted I am still too lazy to get the DLC to have him as a companion.R2s Muse wrote...

It's only recently that I noticed how pretty Sebastian actually is! If it wasn't for the fact that you can't romance him as a male and I'd have to kill Anders then I'd seriously consider him as my canon LI for Hawke. Damn lady Hawke's voice irritating me and Anders for blowing up the Chantry LOL.

@Lola I agree, imo people aren't that attractive when they don't have flaws, in their appearance I mean...and maybe in their personalities. Part of why I disliked/liked DA2!Anders is his sort of greasy/dry skin appearance at times. It makes you look away from their appearance sometimes and really look at the characters for who they are.
But I have to say, Morrigan's eyes were perfect to me...just pluck-able....don't judge me Nikki
I mod her too to make her look like the trailer version. The default version of her had sort of disproportionate features (again, just my opinion

Yeah, Anders certainly had a grungy appearance to him which is fitting really since he lives in Darktown for most, if not all of the game!
I've seen some mods for the female Warden that gives you really modern glamorous hairstyles and makeup, which, although very pretty, feel kinda out of place to me, especially after she's just picked your way through a dozen Darkspawn and come out the other end looking like she's fresh out of a glossy magazine LOL!

I noticed that lady Hawke's voice acting isn't as wonderful as some (notthat I should probably be saying anything I suppose) a lot of the sentences should have been said with a different tone to me..
She just always sounded really condescending to me.

Oh he is WAY more badass, but there are moments of goofiness that just make you facepalm and think, "Ah good ol' Alistair, he's still in there", but....er he kills a lot more people. I was like, "YAVANA!!! NOOOO!!! ALISTAIR WHY!!!!!!" Than I loaded up DA:O and just stared at him for a minute or two before it got a bit creepy.

He was probably pretending it was Morrigan LOL! "THAT'S for making do the dark ritual with you!" *Stab!*

Nah I understand that, personally I was good with it, but I really really disliked game Leliana. I liked her trailer version/armor more, but meh I didn't really use her so it was one of those, "Well you're a nice person imo and you sing heavenly so I'll keep you around."
She seemed WAY more sinister in that trailer though.

Yeah, like some of the mods where the warden looks like a model with perfect hair and all that makeup. I like to make it a bit more realistic.

Nowt wrong with that!
Lemme see if I can find some examples of the model looking Warden's that seem out of place.

I loved the Leliana in the trailer, she seemed so cool! Totally awesome! Then...in game..still loved her but she was so nice sometimes.

This is what I used for my Dalish, it's a bun/ponytail deal. I wanted something to show off her ears

Yeah, stuff like that is believable. Massive salon styled hair featuring styles that don't belong in medieval settings is not LOL.
