I think the hair is fine (maybe not in combat obviously), but I wouldn't mind seeing Empress Celene with beautiful long black hair in the second pic's style, but what irks me is the lipstick lol. Or rather the glitter in the first. Tis a bit much.

I always imagined Empress Celene to be blonde. Dunno why. *Shrugs*

Freckles mods are my everything. Every CC needs more freckles, tbh.

Lmao Nikki. But yes those ones bother me, I don't mind the ones with the ponytails though, cause ponytails are cool.

LOL Agree, those are just too perfect. With all that camping, honestly my hair would be in a ponytail every damn day! Actually any actiony girl seems more realistic to me with her hair up and out of the way. I just can't see going on a rough and tumble mission with long flowy hair to get in your eyes. But then... Maybe that says more about me! LOL

Yeah, the makeup is too modern too... says me that wants to give all my female characters black cat flick eyeliner!

I think it would be cool to be able to change your hair in the inventory or something, so that you could change it's style depending on what your character is doing... but I guess that would be considered too "dress up doll-ish" really.

So do I to be honest, but every monarch/ruler I've seen has been blonde...or bald. Nothing wrong with that though, just a bit repetitive.

I like the mods that put the DA2 elven mods in Origins. They sort of excel in Origins more so than DA2, but it also shows me how awesome some of these elves could have looked in Origins and Inquisition.

Oh, gosh, I don't think you were being confrontational!  No need to apologize!  Just seems perhaps *I* hadn't been clear. :) Plus... Amell Warden playthroughs are typically common amongst the Cullen fans. LOL Just not for this one! ;) [Yet!!  Someday I will finish my Karma's companions playthrough... someday... Maybe once I read Stolen Throne. Since I'm romancing Cullen (read: not Alistair for the first time) I was thinking I could recruit Loghain for the first time. After all the fanfic I've read... he sorta fascinates me. :?]

I find it interesting how people deal with Loghain after they read the Stolen Throne. He is an awesome character in both cases and I love Simon Templeman's work on him. So I can't wait to see the videos if he shows up in Orlais. Should be fun.

In Origins I felt he was paranoid but overall a good guy, but then I read the book and...let's just say there is a part near the end that makes me want to murder knife him, which is a big deal to me since I don't really want to murder knife anyone in fiction...maybe Anora once and a while, but I get over that. lol.

So tell me how that turns out for you :D

ah... Color me intrigued... ! Have to scoot through this one.

I'm really interested to see screenshots of the elves in DA3. Apparently they're toning their DA2 appearance down a little, but not going fully back to their DA:O appearance.

I think it would be cool if city elves had the shorter pointy ears and Dalish ears were noticably longer.

the mirror of whatchacallit basically does, this, right? I hope they include it again. I didn't use it often, but when I did, it was to vary my hairstyle over the years. LOL

... I really like that idea! Because the Dalish are always going on about how the city Elves have been around humans for so long that they are more human than Elf. Maybe the city Elves could be slightly taller/bigger too.

That'd make sense, as the Dalish do refer to City Elves as "flat ears" Though if they just tone down the features, and maybe change it to where they don't look like they have the bodies of prepubescant teens, then I'm good B)

but... They're not genetically distinct, tho, right? I don't think they've been so isolated from each other for soo long. LOL BUT how cool would it be to meet some of the orig elves from Arlathan, or before, and they do look different somehow? That ancient history section from the encyclopedia, with the quickening and all that,  was reeeaalllly cool... If a bit overly Tolkienish! LOL

Lol, I was afraid that if I hugged an elf that they would snap like a twig. "Gah! You killed her!"  "Oops...."

True, but you had to keep revisiting the black emporium. Ideally you'd just open up your inventory and the option would be in there with your customisable outfits. So, if you knew you were going into battle you could choose a style like a bun or ponytail, if you're just running around a town or city then you could have a more casual style, if you're going to a posh Orlesian ball then you'd pick something ridiculously over the top... and if you're trying to seduce Cullen then you could choose to hair your hair flowing free or something.

It's definitely a good read, but it tends to push people over to one side or the other depending on your opinion on the ending of the book which was great.

What was it called again? The mirror of transformation? Maybe it could be the compact of transformation. Now, conveniently pocket sized!

LOL! Exactly like that! I'm gonna make my character wear the most ridiculously over the top (and possibly ugly) ballgown I can find! Seriously, my protagonist is gonna look the like the mutts nuts!

that sorta reminds me of DG's post today, how you could have your seduction attempts fail if you're not their type. Like, is Cullen a long hair or short hair guy? Would he appreciate lingeree or are sweatpants ok? Does he have to make the first move, or can you?

Bwahaha! How's that for a discussion topic, ladies and gents?

I wonder if maybe that was a hint that some of the companions, although romanceable, won't jump into bed with you if you're a blood mage or behave like a bit of an arse etc? I think, if anyone is gonna be picky, it'll be Cullen. I'm fully expecting him to turn my first ever protagonist down because I plan to do a mage playthrough first. Bring on the heartbreak!

I think he'd be for sweatpants or something, he doesn't strike me as the guy who likes his women all glammed up.
