I still love how this turned out, tis a beautiful sight and gets me super excited for Cullen's new outfit. My favorite part is how he doesn't have a skirt anymore....but maybe Dawn of the Seeker spoiled me on that
Anyway whenever I think of what Cullen's romance is going to be like for you ladies I imagine it to be similar to the romance in the movie Ironclad which ironically has a templar for it's main character, He's a silent hero for a good portion of the beggining but he's EPIC when he finally starts to talk.
Anyway the romance is with the wife of a nobleman who's keep they commandeered and she is the primary pursuee (is that a word? lol) which I thought was a nice change from most of these stories. Anyway he struggles with his oath of celebacy as well as the deteriorating circumstances they are in. It's not exactly a picture perfect romance because in the end they end up together after the majority of their friends are killed in the fighting and her husband hangs himself....so I was a little...meh. Good movie though, really reccomend it.
I adore that he doesn't have a long skirt in his survey leak concept art! I can imagine it would be incredibly impractical... plus, finally seeing a part of his body that isn't covered in loose cloth or thick armour makes him feel less untouchable (not like that perv... although I do intend to!) I know I'm not keen on his fluffy bits (shush you!) But it is nice to see him in something more personal, it's like we're finally getting to catch a little glimpse of his personality as a man, not a Templar. If that makes sense?
As for that film, it sounds interesting. I could imagine his romance playing out like that. It makes me wonder if he's taken a personal vow of celibacy, not for religious reasons, but to preserve his own emotional wellbeing and prevent himself from being a burden to someone who he loves.
