That was AWESOME Lola, brava. Seriously well done, I could see it in my mind's eye...and that wasn't really a wall of text, so much as a bit longer post than usual. Only thing I'm curious about is why they'd deem him important? I mean he's a great guy and all, but he's a small fish in a big templar pond, maybe because he's one of the last high ranking templars still loyal to the Chantry?

I wonder how Cassandra is going to react to flirting while on the job...maybe she'll flirt with Cullen though I don't think that's really in character for her. It makes me think we might get him early in the game similar to Sten or Anders.

He was important because they thought he might know where Hawke went, played a part in over throwing Meredith, risked his life trying to save the Divine and they thought he might be of use to the Inquisitor lol!

I've never played it but I've seen pictures and clips from it. I think it's a DS game, but the art style is very much like the picture R2 posted up.

These past few days I seem to have gone into a bit of a Cullen/DA3 craze (more than usual) lol. I've been trawling the Internet looking for new pictures, art, videos and information.

I'm sooooo tempted to replay DA:O again, but I wanna wait until I get a new PC so I can play it on that with the mods. Hm, maybe I'll re-watch some of the Cullen fan videos on YouTube. Obsessed much!

So here's a question. Do you think Cullen's a euphemism kind of guy, like Alistair? I just can't picture him coming up with cutesy names about sex acts. On the other hand, I can't really imagine him discussing them at all.

I wonder if DA3 will follow in ME3's footsteps and incorporate some big meaty atmospheric orchestral based pieces into the game?

Since I made those two Cullen fan videos using Mark Petrie's music, I've been thinking that it would be kinda cool if they used a few "epic" pieces of music during certain scenes in the game. For example:

1) An epic battle is about take place. As the scene pans out you see thousands of men, women, mages, Elves, Dwarfs, Quanari etc preparing to fight the onslaught of demons/etc ripping their way through the veil. The battle begins as the music hits it's stride and the demons pour out killing anything in their way. Now, imagine that scene with something similar to this in epicness accompanying it:

2) Something goes horribly wrong and one of you companions/LI or an npc close to your protagonist is fatally injured. As he/she bleeds out you have one last heart-to-heart. Now, imagine that scene with something like this playing in the background, but with a woman singing something in a haunting Elven tone:

3) You made a bunch of wrong decisions and got the "worst ending", everyone is dying, killed in battle or twisted into fleshy abominations. Thedas is being destroyed. You and your companions know it's the end, but they're not going down without a fight. As they charge into battle together a scene plays in slow mo as they fight, one by one you see your companions slain by the enemy. Finally your protagonist (the last to fall) succumbs to death. Now, imagine something like this as background music as the scene plays out in front of you: (skip to 2:28ish) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YQ2rOqdD-HU

4) Congratulations! You made some good choices, rallied together enough supporters/troops and you have the upper hand. The battle ends with minimal bloodshed and all companions alive. Something similar to the following music plays out as you and your companions look across the horizon, there's a lot of carnage but it's over now. Your choosen LI gives you a knowing smile and stands by your side as the crowd roars in victory. You've won: (skip to about 1:06ish) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T-P9R4k2WDo

5) The Divine is killed. You see her death scene play out in slow motion as Cassandra, Cullen and several other of her would-be protectors at the peace gathering try to save her. You can see the pain and fear on their faces and look of utter shock from the crowd, however the expression in the Divine's eyes seems strangely serene, as if she openly embraced for her own death: (skip to 0:13) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eUFTU_PTj08

I can imagine him being an unintentional euphenism kinda guy. Like:

*Cullen asks to join the protagonist on her epic adventure*

Cullen: "I wish to offer you my services whenever you need them, I think you'll find them satisfactory"

Protagonist: *Snarky option* "Why, this is all so... sudden. We've only just met!" 

Cullen: "Wha? ... Oh! Oh my... No, I didn't mean THAT! Uh, not that you're aren't a very attractive man/woman, but I... er... phew, my goodness!"

Protagonist: "Relax Cullen, welcome to the party!"

Cullen: "I-is it hot in here? Gosh, is the time! I should go!" *Runs off*

Nah, I think he's pretty straight-laced and maybe a bit lacking in the sense of humor department (which Alistair is not LOL); also, Alistair's kind of a big dork, and Cullen isn't... he's shy, but he's not a dork. He's more of a jock, methinks.

Like I can't picture Alistair as one of those L.L. Bean boyfriends but it just works for Cullen
