So I dunno if they're going to make us pay for another DLC companion, they said they won't but idk they have for their past two or three games so I wouldn't be surprised if we get another one here. I don't mind them if I'm honest especially because they normally sell them for free with the pre-order, but idk, they need to make sure they avoid the whole Javik scenario. Idk how I'd feel if they let us play as Morrigan again if we buy DLC, I'd probably do it, but it'd be kind of lame.

If it's a Day 1 DLC with a companion and/or the mirror of transformation I'll buy it regardless of its prices because I like to have as many people for my protagonist to interact with as possible... and I'm crap at making decent looking characters, so the mirror of transformation is handy LOL!

I just hope they do it free w/ preorder like they did w/ DA2, that was really handy. Plus, it gives me a good reason to explain why I get it right off that bat, other than saying I'm a Bioware nut that preorders almost everything they come out w/

It's something that also concerns me when I finally play DA3.

What with the survey leak and all the fun concepts we've come up with off the back of it's appearance, I'm wondering if I'll be disappointed if it turns out that the game isn't at all like we expected. Obviously, the game isn't going to be "Dragon Age 3: The Cullen Years" so I'm not expecting it to feature his story arc heavily, if at all, but I'll definitely be disappointed if we only see him for a 2 minute cameo lol. 

It's weird, we know next to nothing about the game and yet I feel like I've already played it LOL.

We're sort of at the peak of anticipation, the game is who knows how many months out and we've been shown something that really appeals to us as players, so it can't come soon enough, I just hope our sugar highs don't get us to worked to properly enjoy the game for what it is, rather than what we expected it to be with this small bit of information.

Yeah, I played DA2 straight after my first ever playthrough of DA:O (I was late to the party lol), so I didn't have to wait for it and didn't have the chance to speculate about what it would be like. However, I can recall being a bit confused about how different the game was compared to its predecessor lol. I actually really disliked my first playthrough of DA2 because I felt like I was running around doing fetch quests and favours for everyone and nothing else was happening, then just when it got interesting (the mages and templars fighting each other and the Orsino/Meredith thing) it ended. 

I wasn't familiar with all the lore etc back then, but after playing through DA:O and DA2 hundreds of times since I've come to really appreciate the second game, but it took a while! Waiting for DA3 has been absolute murder for me, because I've become a huge fan of the DA franchise and it's the first time I've had to wait for it to be released, and although I love speculating and stuff, I'm wondering if it'll be a bigger disappointment for me if DA3 does turn out be less "epic" than I imagine.

Same here, it could turn out to be absolutely awful and I'm like "pfft, take my money! I'll deal with it later!"

I realized not to long ago that DA2 is actually a pretty good game. Not as amazing as DA:O but still enjoyable. I think DA3 will be awesome considering the devs even seem excited about it. (Though I wasn't waiting for DA2 or anything so I don't know if them getting excited happens often with them)

My thoughts exactly...is that a bad thing though I mean if it was an unproven product sure, but it should be good regardless of what story they go down.

Yeah, I think once they start doing the show & tell thing and people (hopefully) react positively then they'll probably be more bouncy about it.

I'm feeling confident that DA3 will be better than DA2, at least in regards to companion interaction. I didn't hate the second game even though I prefered the first, so in theory this new game should be golden.

Tis very rare for me to pre-order a game, but I will do so for DA3. I only started playing the DA games about 5 months ago (why was I so late?) and even I'm finding it hard having to wait!
