Oh! That reminds me! Cam tweeted some pics of Mark Darrah doing some sort of interview/video in front of a green screen a few weeks ago, he also made a tweet more recently about how he didn't like seeing himself on camera. Maybe that also has something to do with this 10 minute video?

Perhaps it's one of those promotional videos games companies do where they show you clips from the new game and have the developers talk a bit about the plot, characters, setting etc? Aw man, what I wouldn't give for a video like that right now, anything just to generate conversation!

You know, this is what I imagine it to be. They keep stressing that we'll see gameplay first, not fancy trailers and such. So I'm betting on a "behind the scenes" type video with talking heads and game play. The fact that they're so openly tweeting about it suggests to me that it's for us, Jo Q. Public.

Well, if they can't show us any screenshots cuz maybe it is gonna be next gen, and the real big suits won't let them.

They should be able to give us a very quick idea abt what the story is really abt. I mean, all we officially know is that it has something to do w/an Inquisition.

Think abt it, (Not including the survey) what have they said? We don't know how much if any of the survey they're running with.

We know abt, a castle---they may, or may not get to have. The PC is human. And they're working on armor customization...

What am I missing? From the devs mouth?

Some game mechanic stuff like trying to get imports to have impact. And the travel and area. variety.

But I don't actually know what the story is abt. Not from the devs. Everything we speculate on and come dangerously close to assuming is from the survey.

That's what I thought of too when I first saw the tweet. I'll take anything at this point, a video, a screenshot, a damn flipbook. I really don't care.

That's what I thought of too when I first saw the tweet. I'll take anything at this point, a video, a screenshot, a damn flipbook. I really don't care. 

Lol, it's gonna be a long wait until Spring at this rate! If that video is for the general public I don't think we'll be getting it any time soon.

Given who said that, I'm gonna take a wild guess that it's based on pure speculation from their particular point of view. Probably reading too much between the lines about DG's and the other writers' avowed enjoyment of bittersweet endings and dining on our tears. I doubt the devs would come even close to talking about the DA3 ending... Particularly given the ... "Issues" with ME3.

That's exactly what I thought, but I wasn't sure if maybe he/she knew something or that DG had hinted at a bitter sweet ending that we'd missed. I've asked the user anyway, perhaps he/she has some proof to back up the claim.

I'm in no doubt that the writers are gonna pull some sort of "surprise" on us, but hopefully not of the "har har your LI's dead/you're dead and you can't do sh!t about it!"

Lol we're pretty eagle eyed about DA3 related stuff, aren't we! Chances are it was just something one of the devs said that hinted towards some sort of fan tears lol.

What funny about that video is that you can already see the "problem" with their approach to DA2. MLaw's first sentence is about DA3, not DA2. The point of DA2, he says, is that the world is on the brink of war, and how the Champion shapes that point in history. So the point of the game is what happens after the game is over. No kidding they had the idea for DA3 before DA2. LOL

If you could Cosplay anyone from the DA world. Who would you pick and why?

Maybe it was a joke because David Gaider says he likes bittersweet endings the bestest. His words not mine lol. And really haven't both of them been kind of bittersweet? I mean even if you survive, you might have unleashed a whole new evil onto the world or potentially lost your lover/best friend.

In DA2, you may have lost a great friend in Sebastian or had to kill your love/good friend/been betrayed by said friend. You may have been forced to start running again, have lost your mother and one or both of your siblings to get there only to have to leave again which the added bonus of having started a new war, If you're Viscount you may have killed a member of your family.

In DA3 I dunno what they're going to do to us, but it's gonna SUCK in a good a way. We;re gonna be like Yay I'm done!!! But DAMN YOU GAIDER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *echoes* *pan to scene of DG hearing us while petting a white cat and sipping on a glass of our tears*

I was so irritated at the end of DA2. It was just like "Ok, some kinda important stuff happened here, now you have to wait for the REALLY good stuff that we've been alluding to this whole time!"

LOL it would depend a little on how skinny I was. If I was 20 lbs lighter, and a little more daring, I'd  love to do Morrigan. The outfit just looks like fun to wear. But, really, I'd love to be a seeker or a templar. So Cass or Evangeline. The armor is just kickass, like their characters.
