Maybe it was a joke because David Gaider says he likes bittersweet endings the bestest. His words not mine lol. And really haven't both of them been kind of bittersweet? I mean even if you survive, you might have unleashed a whole new evil onto the world or potentially lost your lover/best friend.
In DA2, you may have lost a great friend in Sebastian or had to kill your love/good friend/been betrayed by said friend. You may have been forced to start running again, have lost your mother and one or both of your siblings to get there only to have to leave again which the added bonus of having started a new war, If you're Viscount you may have killed a member of your family.
In DA3 I dunno what they're going to do to us, but it's gonna SUCK in a good a way. We;re gonna be like Yay I'm done!!! But DAMN YOU GAIDER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *echoes* *pan to scene of DG hearing us while petting a white cat and sipping on a glass of our tears*

The decision was easy for me to make and it didn't even bother me, especially since Alistair protested so much about it lol. Even when Anders blew up the Chantry, I was more bothered that Justice was still stuck inside him meaning that he'd be a moody bastard for the rest of his 'n' Hawke's relationship LOL!

They announced DA2 and started releasing videos/screenshots like right off the bat. Due in large part to EA I think, trying to latch onto the success of DA:Origins.

Yeah, but that's because it took months for the rest of the info to start piling in lol. We'd go a good month without a decent lick of information and then suddenly character blurb with concept art and maybe a screenshot. What I think bothers me a good bit is that the story was kind of spoiled for us. Like with the Anders/Justice thing. It wasn't a surprise when we got the whole, "You will never touch a mage as you did him" or whatever the balls Justice says. I mean it could have been an AWESOME revelation...but I was spoiled. My own fault but still.
So that means all the devs right now are Leia with her long unbound hair swinging in front of thier faces saying "I.... I CAN'T tell you..." .R2s Muse wrote...

You know, the one thing I feel we'll see from DA3, based on what the devs have said, is that it will be EPIC. We should start a support group, keep each other from reading the spoilers. "I wont if you wont!" Type of deal
