LOL Or you could pull a fantasy trope out of your butt and have it be a pregnancy that lasts a few days. Gotta love magic! Gives a whole new meaning to "A wizard did it!" tho, doesn't it?motomotogirl wrote...

Just seems like in the latter stages we/our LI would be much more of a burden than anything, plus for lady characters we'd be bed ridden for a good part of the game forcing us to either wait for the baby to be born or taking control away from our main hero and into the hands of one of our companions....which would open up it's own problems.
OMG I love that image of Morrigan's son; can he PLEASE grow up super fast and be a LI for my beefcake Inquisitor?!
About being preggers; many women are walking cheerfully around and going about their business the day before they give birth. Also, I've played the Sims, so I know you can just be cleaning the house or working out and suddenly go into labor. You pop that sucker out, name him, then go back to your business. Simple as pie!

Yeah true dat; I don't think many moms-to-be are capable of storming battlefields near their due date lol

It's a nice picture of him, but he looks like a yellowed eyed version of my dad when he was young... which in turn is basically a male version of myself. :-S

Btw: I didn't like the Wardens so much anymore after playing DA2.
First in the deep roads w/ my Bro Carver dying...and Stroud wants to be all philosophical abt it. How the Wardens must be called to it. I don't remember my Warden being "called" to anything.
Then the Qunari invasion, and still they wouldn't help. Politics and all that. But I personally didn't see that as politics. I saw it as plz help us keep ppl from being Slaughtered.
They're up to who knows what kinda skulduggery. Then the whole Legacy thing.
By the end of DA2 I felt like I didn't even know who the Wardens were anymore.
Well if the Qunari won despite their efforts it might cause issue in the future if they needed to recruit one/request aid against the darkspawn. But I also think we saw a very ideolized version of the Wardens in Origins. We saw the heroes rather than the neutral politicians.
Alistair even says that the Wardens didn't really approve of the whole Ferelden Civil War thing, but it ended a Blight so they can't exactly complain...or they can, but who is gonna care

I just got an image of the Battle of Ostagar and Cailan yells "For Ferelden" and an army of pregnant women charge foward in maternity clothes....all waddaling and demanding strange foods like sardines and ice cream...
T'would be an epic tale sung by the bards for many ages.

"Gather round as I sing of a tale most strange
A 50,000 strong army of women enraged
Upon their foes their anger did rain
Heavily pregnant women all of whom were in pain
March forward they did, slaying Darkspawn on mass
Then paused mid-battle with terrible gas"
*Takes a bow*
(A bards life, is clearly not for me!)

I definitely would not wanna see my PC preggers and taking down an ogre. Just no. Altho, I have no doubt they could do it. Very pregnant women are very evil. A force of nature from the amount of hormones racing thru them alone.
If my Warden had been preggers, oh...geez, she woulda been killing evrybody. then of course she would have cried hysterically abt it later, but there it is.
it's a very...clint eastwood--squinty eyed--rawrz-y state of being.

Yeah I wouldn't want my protagonist or any of the companions to end up pregnant during the game, even once Morrigan was up the duff with Alistair's baby I refused to take her into the battle to fight the Archdemon, just in case it harmed her or put the baby at risk... not that it stopped her fighting the Darkspawn LOL!

The only thing that scares me abt Cullen in the next game is how he might turn out looking. Sometimes they get it right...and sometimes...well, it makes you back up and say, "whoa! wth happened to you?"
If they're not dlc/cameo then they might be okay.
It's definitely something that concerns me. Not that it would put me off romancing him, but I'd be forever thinking that they'd done it to troll us since the writers are fully aware that he was abnormally attractive in DA2 lol.
I plan to get DA3 on the PC (as well as the Xbox) so that if his DA3 model is ridiculous looking then I can use a mod to change him back to something resembling his DA2 appearance.

Oh, btw, I did see one new--to me --pic on the Amazon World of Thedas thing.
It was in a forest somewhere. The trees were Huge! With lil mushroom looking things growing on the sides. And a meandering stream.
I've never seen that area. Unless it ws a concept of the Brecillian. But...it didn't look like it. It ws very densely forested.
It reminded me of the Witchwood in Dragons Dogma. I wish I could get a pic of it, but..Amazon.
