Interesting. I wonder what was the Original Plan? I don't see why they couldn't start an Inquisition and keep looking for Warden/Hawke..

But they're now leaving both to the Maker.

Maybe Leliana is trying to discourage "the original plan" (if it is the Inquisition) simply because it would've cause more trouble than it's worth at that time. If the newly rebelled mages were to hear that the Inquisition has been reformed they would've gone crazy, inciting even more carnage and rebellion, thus making the situation a million times worse. Perhaps after the catalyst of DA3 (whatever that may be) it leaves them no choice but to recreate the Inquisition due to circumstance.

You know, if Warden/Hawke are the ones seen capable to stop the conflict. I imagine there would be others looking for them. Others that perhaps did not want anyone stopping the conflict.

I think perhaps people are looking to them for help simply because they are status symbols. The Warden stopped the blight in just a year and commands a lot of power and respect. Hawke is also very influential and played a part in the Mage/Templar situation, chances are they'd want to find him to at least put a stop to the mess he helped create. Even if they weren't of any use to the current situation, people would still look to them for guidance because they're heroes.

And conversely, maybe someone has them that knew they were in deep trouble and whisked them away to protect them from shadowy assassin's, or something.

I've often wondered if maybe the Warden and Hawke's disappearance is due to them being taken away for their own safety, maybe be Flemeth or something?

Oh man, I'm so excited to see how Dragon Age is going to look w/ this new engine!

I bet it'll look stunning on PC!

I really curious to see what kind of art style they're going with. Remember when Cam asked us all in Skype which art style we prefered: DA:O or DA2, and we all said DA2? His reply was "then you'll all ****** your pants when you see DA3"

... Makes me wonder if it'll be closer to DA2 in terms of the characters appearance.

Thanks for that.  I feel better now.  I was worried for my Xbox.

Have to say though, all the talk about next gen consules did get me a bit worried so I recently got Windows 7 for my computer, just in case!  I also liked the Youtube videos linked on this thread and the look of all those mods you can use/create. Clever.  Made me wish I still had a pc.

You're welcome! :)

I'm glad that so far they're on target for 2013, mainly because I wanna play DA3 as soon as humanly possible lol!

He did? That night is still very blurry to me :P

I actually kinda prefer Origins, though DA2 does have better graphics. I think it might be due in part to the limited scenery in DA2, so I don't really have a good feel for what the art style would look like for certain areas. I know Mark of the Assasian is supposed to take us out of Kirkwall, but I haven't played it yet. I'm debating buying it for my PC playthrough.

I'm not surprised, you were rat arsed!

Yeah, I prefered DA:O's environments too until I played MotA and then I realised just how pretty everything was lol. I prefer the looks of the characters in DA2 though, even though Zev and Alistair came out looking a bit derpy, in general everyone had better facial expressions... and Cullen turned into a total babe!

The Cullen transformation totally went in the right direction for sure. No complaints there.

Sounds like I really will have to invest in this DLC. Not sure why I haven't gotten it yet, and I still have to play the Omega DLC for Mass Effect. I'm so lame. I just keep going back and playing games that I have already beat multiple times, instead of trying the new stuff.

MotA is good fun, even the companions are in better spirits! I find playing a sarcastic/funny male Hawke the best option for the DLC, but it depends on your preference. What's great about the DLC is that it's not all combat, you can be stealthy instead and there's a bunch of puzzles reminiscent to DA:O in there too. Plus everything is REALLY colourful and flamboyant!

I found the Omega DLC to be a bit of a disappointment, although something awesome happens if you side with Aria the whole time!

And sooo, if I killed Anders, where does that leave Justice? I didn't trust Justice when playing DA2. I always thought he was some demon that tricked Anders. Played on his sense of "justice for mages". Then I played DAA, and formed  diff opinion of him, but....I still don't know abt. that spirit.

I hope Justice is dead >.< Also hope my Tranquil!Anders theory would work to so that Justice would die. But I just don't know what the canon is for that situation (killing the host or separating the host from the Fade). Does the spirit die? Or become bodiless? Or get sent back to the Fade?

Well, I would hope he gets sent back to the Fade. Just please don't possess yet another innocent person :(

MY GOD Can you guys imagine if Cullen were possessed by Justice?!?!? :o

If that damn Justice shows up again. Grrr! I have sum pointed words for that one.

I liked Justice in DAA. He was this great spirit, yet in our world he was like a child.  And Anders' "anger" always gets blamed for this Vengeance thing, but in DAA...Anders didn't really seem to give a damn. I mean, he did, but it was more like hey, that's the way it goes. He didn't seem like the Cause type.

Maybe I'm forgetting some things.

Anyway, I have sum pt's where Anders is alive, and sum whre he's dead. Will it impact DA3? Somehow I doubt it.

I don't think Justice will possess Cullen cuz they've already done that.

Justice gave Anders purpose beyond ******, arse and escaping the Circle LOL! His anger (that he always had towards Templars and the Circle) just amplified over the years, thus corrupting poor old Justice.

In my game Anders is very much alive and in control of things, thanks to some good old fashioned Hawke lovin'! DG promised that if you killed Anders in DA2 then he won't show up in DA3.

I was super excited about seeing a female turian, but yea, after playing through the endings I lost the motivation to re-play that game.

As for MotA, I thought I wouldn't like it cause I found Felicia Day's character super irritating in Redemption. Loved her in that one episode of Supernatural though

That is one thing I hope they have in DA3, more color. As for everything else, I never really cared if it was DAO, or DA2 artstyle. Just so long as it is detailed. Rich. Diff colors based on area.

Orzammar was my fav area. I think cuz of all the color. Most other places were rather drab.

Also I actually would luv to have this game on next gen. I would rather know abt this sooner, rather than later so I could save up.

But I heard they were trying to keep the next gen prices at a reasonable lvl. Not like how it was w/ps3 and360 when they first came out. They do not want it to be cost prohibitive at launch again.

Tallis is likable, but I do find her Valley Girl-ish accent a bit jarring. Admittedly it did feel like the DLC was done purely to showcase Felicia's character, rather than the quest itself, but there are some incredibly funny moments between Hawke and Tallis, especially when you're at the garden party.

Ok, lots of Asunder spoilers again. What you want is impossible, tranquility does not kill demons

What tranquility does is kill the connection of the person to all all his emotions (which apparently are on the fade), therefore making that person as "interesting" to a demon as a chair or a rock. Demons CAN possess the tranquil they just have no interest on doing so. In fact the cure to tranquility is just that: get a demon to enter a Tranquil's mind/body and with that, make a new connection to the fade. Thus the tranquil reconnects to the fade, gaining all his emotions back. The trouble is that then you are faced with a free demon out of the fade. Things can and do get messy. The first tranquil "cured" by this method killed an entire fortress full of people.

Making Ander Tranquil would not kill Justice, in fact, it would even aid Justice: Without Ander's emotions and love for Hawke, Justice would have free reign to do what he wants, and be able to use all Ander's talents and magic with no pesquy "conscience" to stop him

PS: @rapscalliones - Take Anders with you in the end of DAA then decide to burn Amarantine adn you will see DA2 Anders enraged and refusing to stay with you if you let all those innocent people die. :P

After playing the mage origin in DA:O again last night, I noticed that Cullen's DA:O model is still actually pretty cute, he just looks a little older and a bit ill. The screenshots people take of him from DA:O just tend to catch him in an unflattering light or angle. You can still totally tell that DA2 Cullen is the same guy from DA:O, even before he opens his mouth.

I think Greg Ellis' voice also made him come across a lot younger than his model looked in DA:O. It's pretty clever how he changes his voice to sound younger or older, softer/more naive and then suddenly switch it to harsh and formal.

Exactly this!

To undo it would be VERY tricky with a spirit like Justice in control.

The best part is when you talk to Seneschal Bran and his companion.  I really liked MoTA and Tallis to a certain extent.
The only problem now is that when I think of or say the word 'wyvern', it is always in a french accent.  I just can't get it out of my head!

Seriously? But I love Serendipity!

I guess maybe some people might be insulted that they made her a prostitute, as if she was just some kind of fetish for the protagonist to partake in. But overall I thought she was awesome.
