They did... although I don't recall if it was that we would specifically see them in our party...LolaLei wrote...
That reminds me! Early on (possible around the time of PAX) didn't they say that our party would be made up of some old familiar faces as well as new ones?

I think one of the audience members at PAX asked if any returning characters would make it into our party. Lemme see if I can find the source.

Oh my! What if Cullen is now one of the Knights Divine? (LOL that sounds like a ye olde boy band!)
I still have a hard time believing these guys exist. They're not mentioned at all in Asunder. Instead, Lambert seems to be getting buyin from the Knight Commanders. There is so much inconsistency with the templar/seeker hierarchies. Like, the High Seeker from DotS is nowhere else to be found. Grr.
I dunno. I really see him getting busted for insubordination, but if Justinia is as cool and righteous as she seems... maybe she's smarter than that and promotes him for his quick thinking and loyalty.

See, I'm thinking that the Divine must have heard the rumours that Meredith was going a bit loopy, especially with the letters and stuff she kept sending to her about the Rite of Annulment.
I'd presume someone (maybe Cullen) informed her (via sending stone?) That Meredith just turned into a glowing husk after hulking out and setting a bunch of crazy statues on them LOL! With that type of "tall tale" the Divine would surely want to see him to get him to explain properly what had happened.

"She" is in the Blooming Rose too. Bioware got a lot of hate mail - and kudos - for portraying a transgendered npc because of those 2 little bit parts.
Seriously? But I love Serendipity!
I guess maybe some people might be insulted that they made her a prostitute, as if she was just some kind of fetish for the protagonist to partake in. But overall I thought she was awesome.
I think some took offense to the fact that Serendipity was used for laughs instead of taken seriously as a trans person/character.

Yeah, I can see that being an issue and they have a fair point.

Hmm, as someone who loves F.D. "in person" but typically finds most of her characters irritating, MOTA is still worth it, IMO. Personally, I found Tallis in MOTA even more annoying than in Redemption... so you may want to be warnedlittlenikki wrote...
As for MotA, I thought I wouldn't like it cause I found Felicia Day's character super irritating in Redemption. Loved her in that one episode of Supernatural though... but even with that, the DLC was fantastic. Beautiful, cool insights into Orlesian culture, more political intrigue, oodles more banter that generally acknowlege your LI, sneaking if that's you're thing.
Agree completely! Love Felicia as a person (from her YT videos and what not), really dislike her characters and didn't enjoy her VAing of Tallis. Had Tallis had a different VA I may have liked her, although I still disliked how she completely stole the show. Not only does she take precedent over Hawke's companions and even LI, but she practically outshines Hawke!
That said, the DLC is super fun and I've played it loads of times!

I think the whole Red Lyrium Meredith statue and all the witnesses would clear him of the insubordination issue.
All he would have to do is just point at the statue. Which is like an old nuclear warhead. Idk what they're gonna do w/that.
That may even be the reason, or the how the Seekers came looking for Hawke. They knew Hawke went down there and got the idol. Altho, they thought it was part of a bigger, purposeful plan.
The Templars in the last scene would know it was from Bartrand. The deep roads expedition. And that it corrupted Meredith.
I think that's abt all they would know.
I'm glad Hawke got outta there while the getting was good. I can imagine that slow wlk outta the Gallows turned into a headlong Sprint as soon as they turned the corner. Sheesh. B4 the shock wore off and the Templars changed their mind.

It makes me think that until Varric clarified things, Cassandra and everyone else had been thinking that Hawke had come along and killed Meredith and Orsino for nefarious purposes.

If that's the case then perhaps until Varric clarified things to Cassandra everyone was under the assumption that Meredith's death was in cold blood. Of course, Hawke had disappeared so maybe Cullen's left to take the brunt of it in a dungeon somewhere for aiding him and after Cassandra finds out the truth the Divine has him freed and sent to her.
Head canon accepted!

They did think that. And yet they also wanted Hawke to help stop the conflict. Which kinda makes no sense. What would they have done if they had found Hawke. Beg Hawke to help? The one who supposedly started it all on purpose?
Or, threatened Hawke's Dog...? Idk.
They wanted him to undo the trouble he caused, knowing Cassandra probably through force. Afterwards they probably would have put him to death or something. Fortunately Varric sorted it all out by explaining what really happened.

Altho, maybe they had him locked up until further investigation. Do you think someone would have to answer for that, regardless? For appearance sake if nothing else?
Or, he came and told them abt the madness. Hawke of course was implicated. How could Hwke not be. And if Meredith was sneding looney ltrs to the Divine...?
But all the Divine's worst fears came to pass in Kirkwall. Cullen could be in trouble cuz he was second in command. Negligence to fulfill his duty.
Oh! Cullen! I wanted him to be a Knights Divine, tho

Maybe, although if he doesn't get in trouble for killing Meredith, he might get in trouble for letting a pro-mage Hawke escape or failing to capture Anders despite numerous chances lol.
It sounds cruel but I kinda like the idea of Cullen having to suffer a little more by getting tortured by the newly rebelled Templars for insubordination or whatever.

It all depends.. If it was Evangeline or some other sensible Templar that came help Cullen he'd be in the clear. If it was Lambert.. I bet he would find a way to arrest and disgrace Cullen.
I hadn't thought abt that.
That would be alot of incentive to find out and stop whatever is truly causing all this chaos. Redeem his Rep.

Meredith was definitely crazy and had become a threat to the entire city — maybe even the entire continent — but Cullen still disobeyed her orders and he still helped kill her. There are definitely some militant templars who would call Cullen a traitor for his actions.

Exactly.
Many would accuse him of being a mage sympathiser... and probably even use his past infatuation with Amell/Surana against him (if you played the female mage origin). Bottom line is, if they wanted to nail his balls to the ground to prevent him from running to the Divine or whatever then they've got enough "evidence" to do so.
