One of the things that has bothered me the most was the DA confession about "How can they love Cullen and ignore Alain?" It was just such a fundamental misunderstanding of both Cullen and his fans. It's in the same vein as calling Anders a terrorist and saying all his fans love terrorism. Yes Cullen does some bad things, voices bad opinions, and so on and so forth. We like his character, his personality, everything about him, and that includes the bad stuff... otherwise he is a boring character (if he's 100% perfectly good).

I mean, most of us are mage supporters despite being a Cullen fan and it has nothing to do with Cullen's unrequited love/crush on Amell/Surana. Cullen is simply an interesting character- flaws and all! Besides, his outbursts have always been justified due to his past so it's not like he's "bad". 

Anyone would think we were obsessing over Karras or Alrik the way the haters go on about it!

To go off topic for a moment, I just have to state how much I am falling in love with Sebastian right now. How has there not been a mod created to give him a proper romance yet!?! Bioware is so cruel! I am seriously concerned for a Cullen romance right now, as they really seem to enjoy watching us squirm for the unattainable.

I haven't..perfected that romance yet. I was never able to get him 100% either way. I hear the 100% friend romance is...we can have a chaste marriage thing. You can be a sister in the chantry.

oh, dear. Andraste would surely burst into flames all over again if I beacme a sister.

Then the rivalry one..well, there's just some things I will not do to rival him out. I just can't.

So, I'm left w/ the final battle talk of , "I wish..." from Seb.

You're not missing much. Romance wise. And that's the problem. But he is dlc. So.

His voice however. I love his voice.

But I'd still love both. Seb is a rogue and Cullen a warrior. It'd be great skill balance.

I find it pretty easy to rivalmance him, you just have to take him on the right quests. I'm playing the friendship romance path right now, as I hear you get some pretty cute party banter about his and Hawke's "marriage" in the DLCs

Yeah, I'd like to be able to romance him and not lose him, but it just wouldn't surprise me if the writers decided to troll us with something cruel like that since they know he's got a dedicated fanbase. After all, fangirl tears are the sweetest of them all.

It was cruel what they did with Sebastian. CRUEL. Not even a kiss. NOT EVEN A KISS. OR. A. HUG. Add to that he doesn't like boys. Whatever. I would have played a Lady Hawke to have him. Sorry, Isabela.

Agree that if you have to be chaste to get Cullen, automatic RAGEQUIT >.<

yeh? mybe I'll give it another try. Cuz I have a feeling I'll be doing yet another playthru. So, basiclly I have to trash on the chantry and templars, right?

Also, one of the things I like abt. the DLC is getting to know Elthin better.  Which of course makes me more sad in the end...
