Have you tried joining the Thieves Guild in Riften. There's a super sexy Scottish-accented fella named Brynjolf (or something like that). Sadly don't think he's romanceable though :(

There was a bard I liked, but he was only in love with some ginger bird. I could marry the object of his affections if I wanted though LOL!


I married Brelyna from the college in Skyrim with one character and Marcurio from the Bee and Barb with my other, lol.

My Dalish Warden had no love for humans and was totally fine with killing them willy-nilly at first (at least until he got to know and love some, like Alistair and Morrigan). In the opening scene, he shot one human and let the other two run, just for laughs lol

Man, that's what I miss when I miss out on reading a few pages lol


It's only a relatively short one off fic, but I had inspiration a few pages back which in turn inspired R2 lol. She's the brains behind the writing, I just throw in the ideas, take it in the direction I invisioned and add in the odd piece of dialogue lol.

I'm really bad at story writing myself, I always find it difficult to put into words the scenes I see play out in my head as the ideas come to me lol.

I went through a phase of that for a few months and then last week I just suddenly went back on a Dragon Age binge and now I'm all excited about DA3 again lol. 

In a way, it's worse being excited because it makes the waiting feel even longer.

I hope you get back to your art soon. it's good to take breaks. everything in cycles. but, man, i wish i could draw.

i write. so, i know how it comes and goes. and sometimes you can't wait for the muse. you just get started again. and hammer it out. ugh. but the muse ctches up. finds her way to you.i think muses travel ftl. Ha!

Same here. 

At first I was ridiculously excited for months and then I just sorta went a bit "meh" about it and accepted that it'll come out when it's ready... then all of a sudden I got really excited about it again, completely out of the blue for no reason! Which was further amplified when we started discovering pictures from The World of Thedas preview on Amazon.

I fully expect to go all hyperactive when the devs finally start releasing real info to us lol! Still, according to Mike Laidlaw they're on target for the 2013 game release so we won't have much longer to wait for official news. I can't wait to find out more about our new protagonist!

I've been thinking about the rumour going around that we'll start getting DA3 info between March & June again.

For me, Anywhere between March to early May (at the latest) is considered as Spring. June is Summer. If they're aiming to have it out by late 2013 (Fall/Winter) then surely releasing details in Summer would be cutting things a bit tight for publicity and promotional campaigns etc? *Shrugs*

It's so weird to think that DA3 is still in its bare bones stage, but come October/November it'll be a fully functioning game. 9/10 months feels really short and really long at the same time lol.

I wonder who Mr. Bitey is? Could he be a new dog? Or a boss they are just really proud of? Unless Cullen has gotten a bit...er kinky since we last saw him...and the rest of the dev team...

Well if everything isn't a mess or things are just on track than I suspect we'll start hearing news mid-March, have the World of Thedas thing come out, as well as Until We Sleep's first comic. After that I hope we'll be getting a CGI trailer/an in depth talk about the setting...and by in depth I mean vague, yet tantalizing.

On a more present note I have officially started my canon-playthrough...hopefully I will be able to get past the prologue which in honestly my achilles heel. I've spent more time escaping Lothering or being betrayed by Howe than triumphantly defeating the Archdemon or running away from Kirkwall.
