She was awful to him at the end. We called her a fat cow and was generally really rude to her lol.

Well, there was only a bunch of npc roles available and they were Elves, a bandit leader that I think was probably male or some sort of female cook from Lothering who would probably sound really common. By the time I'd done 30 takes a piece of each of the Elven lines I got bored, finished off her lines and sent it LOL.

****ing hilarious! Some how I can't imagine my voice will be right for that character. 

*Edit* Yeah, it was DA:O... all the DA:O Elves were American!

It's amazing to think that the Dragon Age voice actors spend 4 hours (roughly) recording their dialogue in the booth. Granted, they probably don't do as many retakes as me because they're seasoned professionals (and not crap) but I can't imagine the voice actors doing companion roles get a great deal of dialogue down in just one session.

Makes me wonder about Greg Ellis' one session that he tweeted about. If it was just the one and no more, then I'd say that he's definitely only a very minor npc or cameo.

It can't be. The Kirkwall ref is to the distant past (9:21). The divine in the movie is Justinia V, and she didn't get elected until 9:34. (Edit: a constraint I only realized recently myself)

Erm, right, the reference to Kirkwall according to DG is to 9:21, when Meredith overthrew Perrin Threnhold. But, the movie can't take place earlier than 9:34, because the Divine in it is Justinia V, who ascended in 9:34. DG only says that it doesn't take place AFTER DA2, and that the reference to Kirkwall is to 9:21 not to what Anders did in 9:37. (Although he does say it's "quite a few years earlier", which honestly doesn't quite make sense). Just because they reference 9:21 doesn't mean it has to take place then. So, since they don't reference Anders, but the Divine they're trying to kill is Justinia, the bulk of the action in the movie must take place between 9:34 and 9:37.

edit: Anyway, I know you and I have talked about this before, back when DG made that clarification... but I only recently realized that the story can't possibly take place that long ago because it's Justinia and she's only been Divine for a little while. Also, if the movie happened that long ago, Cassandra would probably be close to 40, and M Laidlaw told Danny she wasn't that old.

I created another event for tomorrow at 7pm EST I'll probably just stream music for awhile until we get a good amount of people back on. I think the longer you run the livestream, the laggier it gets, so another solution if that happens is I can restart the event, or create a new one. I know R2 was having problems making an account, but I can't switch it to viewable w/out accounts w/ the free account version. Were we missing anyone else that wanted to get in on it?

Cool. Sounds like you guys had fun! I finally got my account activated, so hopefully I can join in tonight. It was actually easy to do... except for REASONS that were stupid and specific only to me.

Thank you  I just wish it was multiplayer somehow, so everyone could play. Bossing me around seems like the next best option

Yeah it was for Karma, it's only minor NPC though.

Minor npc is still awesome! You get to brag that your voice is in a video game even if its a mod.

Cacey: Hard to say, it doesn't really give any details. But from what I can tell all the NPC dialogue is from different quests that they've been making.
