His voice actor is amazing. Greg Ellis put a lot of depth into Cullen's lines that just might not have been there if a less talented actor had played him.

He does funny well too if his Awakening Anders was anything to go by.

Yes, and Greg Ellis even sings!  He's an all-around multi-talented stage actor, movie actor, and voice actor. I really liked his acting for Anders in Awakening but, given that he was the original voice actor for Cullen in DA:O, I was glad that they got him back for Cullen's part in DA2.

If Cullen makes an apperance in DA3, it would be a crying shame if they switch out his voice actor.

Greg was supposed to do Anders voice for DA2, but his work schedule was too hetic so they gave the part to Adam Howden instead. I wonder if he would have still done Cullen's voice if he had been available to do Ander's voice instead? They sound different enough that I think he would have pulled it off fine.

I think maybe this was a blessing in disguise because otherwise I doubt they would have him do Cullen's voice in DA3. Here's hoping he'll have time to do the VA for him this time round, it wouldn't feel right id he was played by anyone else.

Yeah, I know that we (and Cullen) were lucky because of Greg's busy schedule. Anders really does sound very different and very unique in Awakening so it is possible they could have pulled it off. If they get a different VA for Cullen in DA3, it will completely fail to feel right. Greg Ellis does such a good job of conveying Cullen's inner conflict purely through the tone and inflection of his voice.

Agreed about Isabela and, for Bethany, I don't think she's looking for a "good guy."  She's looking for someone who will take care of her, make decisions for her, and MAKE HER LIFE EASY.  This goes back to what I posted furher up the page...

I think she's confused the two, to put it in a nutshell. A "good guy" equates to all those things in her mind. Kinda like how her father was...

If it's confirmed that Cullen is a companion/Li, the main thing I'd be concerned about is that it would be a different voice actor, I would be a bit disappointed though obviously I would still have my character romance him... unless he has an awful voice and turns out to be a complete douche bag lol.

I can only imagine what the Anders fans intial reactions were after expecting to bump into a happy, chappy northern Anders only to find a very serious, standard English accent Anders lol... not that Adam Howe done a bad job of it at all, it was probably a bit of a head **** though.

I prefer Awakening Anders to DA2 Anders.

She's just a bit spoilt because she's the youngest girl in the family so everyone always run around after her and protected her, more so because she's a Mage. I doubt she's ever done much for herself. Either way, she's dead in all my games... y'know, just incase. LOL!

hehehe Troll away. :D You know David Gaider said something troll worthy yesterday. He tweeted that "Loghain is *always* right." I was like "Uh oh... Them be fighting words. Are you trolling DA fandom? Is today one of those *special* days?" He never replied but I wonder what made him say that... :?

I always grin when he says "Motherfukk!n' b!tch, sh!t went down".
That little flaming skull is adroable. And he says "demon town" with a cute long 'e'. "deemon town"... hehehehe On another note, when I watched GE performing Starlight Express, I thought his voice sounded like the singing VA they used for Aladdin. I even looked it up to be sure.

Isn't that how you guys say demon in America?

I was really surprised when I found out he could sing AND rollerskate... especially at the same time! I saw Starlight express live, it's awesome, though I don't think he was still in the cast at that point (i'll have to double check, I was really young at the time.)

I wonder if they'll have him sing a little bit in DA3, even badly just for a laugh lol.

Yes he is. :D I once asked him whose misfortune he was laughing at when he said a bit of news he'd received had him feeling a sense of schadenfreude that was delightful and juvenile. He replied, "Tell you? That would be unprofessional douchebaggery. And I reserve that for *special* days."

hehehehe You see? He does it on purpose! :D But so can I. So when he said that about Loghain, I asked if it was one of his *special* days.

Sweet Jiminy Christmas... I will never catch up. (I can't even begin to explain all the crazy lately! lol) Upon quickly scanning the 8 thousand pages I missed, I will try to summarize:
- I love Alice in Chains as well. I recall the day Layne died being very very sad for my hubby. (I'm also a big fan of Mad Season's 'River of Deceit'.)
- I will 85% of the time play as a female rogue because I hate having to switch characters to open a damn lock. Plus I look like a bad ass and don't have to wear a robe. lol
- I think you hit it spot on with Bethany playing sweet. She's a top secret tease. I'm all about some Izzy though. I'd striaght up be friends with her in real ife.
- Who brought up that rap again???? I'm going to have to spam you for putting it in my head again.

I truly love his snarkiness. He reminds me of an old friend that I dearly miss.
