Ok, here we go Danny:

Here's the first description (if you can't read the writing cos it's too small then I'll type it out:

Image IPB

Here's the companions:

Image IPB

Second description from the German survey:

"A portal between the worlds unleashes hords of demons in the land, civil wars rip apart nations and the corruption is limitless. Someone is behind the shadows, drawing the threads which destroy the world. Time has come for the Inquisition.

Take the Inquisitor's cloak and lead the only force able of bringing light into the darkness. Choose the direct method and gather your armies, send spies into the shadows or engage in a political war, make friends and use your connections indirectly: it is up to you how you lead the inquisition. But you'll have to take lead of it from the beginning.

Make your player a rogue, warrior or mage and set up your crew from up to ten (!) complex companions to lead them against those who attack you by systematically spying on, revealing and destroying them."

Here are the companion descriptions:

Dorian: "Dorian pavus is a magister. The title conjures fear of the arcane masters who once enslaved the nations. Dorian may wield the power of the magisters, but he delights in not being what you'd expect of them. Brazen and clever, this outcast is on a crusade to rid his homeland of its corruption."

The Iron Bull: "The Iron Bull is a long way from home, and he prefers it that way. A slap in the face of the typical Qunari, he loves drinking, killing and looting- not necessarily in that order. The head of a vicious mercenary company, he's known for excellent pay and brutal punishment. It's beena ten year party, but  the Bull may find that old loyalties die hard."

Sera: "Sera is a young, frenetic, and a brat through and through. She revels in the athleticism of being an elf, of being different. But her culture isn't even elven, or, for that matter, strictly human. It's the underbelly of the city. In her network of rogues, what you do is more important than where you're from, and friends open more doors that titles. Robs from the rich, keeps it."

Cole: "A long time ago, a young man died a cruel death in a dark place. And now, somehow, there is Cole. Was he a spirit or a demon? Is he human now? Cole is not sure it matters anymore. Hounded by memories that aren't his own, invisible in a world he can stalk like a shadow, the rogue must decide between joining the living or preying upon them."

Partially you guys and your explanation as to how open and interesting a character he really is. I know speculation is a dime a dozen, but you put up compelling arguments as to why he'd fit the role of a companion and really for me that's all I need. If someone thinks that there is a compelling reason for a character to be involved and they have no... appointment somewhere else than who am I to say otherwise?

Not to mention all of the evidence to his involvement and interest in expanding his character there is among the devs.

Edit: Btw what did you think of the "article" twas my first "blog"

Ah I see! So it was curiosity that brought you to the Cullen thread?

It's very well done, I didn't even realise you could do articles in the DA Wiki lol!

In all honesty I have no idea what brought me here :P I was probably feeling safe enough to post that day and just came in. I think I defended someone by saying that people who post here aren't just women or gay men (not that that is a bad thing, but the assumption is rather...silly) and then I became the token male of the Cullen thread lol.

Thanks. I meant to add more as we saw, but the wiki is even more toxic than the forums because they don't have someone policing them and it was just to much of a headache to come there everyday.

I've never really used the wiki for anything but a companion guide lol. I might have to go digging around the DA wiki to see if there's any info in there that we've missed.

I'll check it out, although I think we're probably more in the "know" than the wiki page.

More often than not, I see the wiki folks quoting the BSN. If it happens first, it happens here. But there's enough crosstalk of folks between the two, that anything new from there gets transmitted here as well.

Um, I think so... but didn't seem to be too much info in them... Did I miss something? I  mean, we reckoned they'd be at PAX, right? Sorta sad that they don't even know yet if there will be a panel. Doesn't sound too much like the "big roll out" we'd been hoping, but I suppose it's possible they just haven't pinned down the agenda yet.

Did you see the ones about Gaider squeeing over a squee worthy piece of dialogue that Sheryl Chee wrote?

Ah, yeah. Does it seem weird that they're *still* writing dialogue??

There was another tweet I posted where one of the writers is talking about working on something (dialogue/scene) that he/she had always wanted to do, so I guess they must still be adding stuff like that in... which is weird cos I thought they had the main companions and protagonist's VO's done... unless it's dlc or something?

Hmm, I wonder if that all means that dialogue that was finished early on was for main plot, and these are all just side quests and what not?

... and pointing out the obvious: Cullen VO was pretty early on... :D

Unless they call the VO's backwards and forwards as chunks of the dialogue gets made? Kinda like a staggered approach? So they'd do a chunk of it, add it into the game once the scene is made, in the meantime they write some more dialogue and call the actor back again to do the next batch?
