For picking party members (I know this is small and probably not important lol, but...) I miss when you would choose the members and they would say something like in DA:O and they had the ready positions when you chose them and relaxed positions when you didn't.

It was not something I really noticed wasn't included in DA II, but I agree that it is a nice little extra touch, that reallly doesn't seem like it would be that difficult for them to keep.

Really if they launched on the next gen they'd be alienating a majority of their fanbase. Plus personally I don't think it's a good idea to make them exclusive, even if you can afford them right away because you're now not judging the game by 60 bucks, it's 60 + the cost of the console which imo can make any game look bad

Lol. Gah how much are these things going to cost anyway? 200-400 bucks? If I have to pay that much to get a game my LI getting be dancing out of the screen. I demand sexy waterfalls for that amount of cash damnit!

I dread to think how much the Xbox 720 will cost.  Any game that ties in with that console has to be epic imho.

I will keep my little 360 for as long as possible!

He doesn't in-game, but that was his "cuss" from DA:O. I don't know under what circumstances the characters used them in DA:O except for the party picker.

LOL Well, in DA2, he says, "Sweet blood of Andraste!" when Wilmod goes demony.  Of course... Fenris says, "I am yours." so that'd be too... Fenrisy...  But certainly romantic.

I can't wait to get my hands on a next gen. My current 360 console is crawling along as it is...hold on, Baby..hold on! (i kinda dropped it..a lil....).

Someone should tweet laidlaw and ask him abt the companion selection interface. and if those small bits of dialogue could make a comeback...

Not sure whether to save my pennies for next gen Xbox or a gaming pc. I do love playing on the console (love playing with a controller), but with a pc you can use mods. I looked at the Melca36's recommendation. I really don't know ....

360 is a very sensitive thing. I remember turning it down flat when I had a Fable 3 disk in it (the disk was a bit noisy) and scratched the bloomin thing to the extent it was unplayable!

At any rate I think the PC is the superior machine, as it can interface with just about any controller and has better graphics and such, but a lot of the stuff you get for it becomes obsolete within a few months (so I heard). The pc also has mods and such which can reinvigorate a game later on.

The only thing I can say for a console is that they last for as long as it takes to get to the next generation and comparatively are better if like me you don't want to be spending money every few months to upgrade your stuff and then find out you don't have enough memory, RAM etc for the games you want to play.....

So that's why I'll be sticking with consoles for the foreseeable future at least until they develop a computer that updates itself.

For what its worth I have a 360 and a gaming rig.  I've also built over 20 machines in the last 10 years.

Its a myth thats its difficult and expensive.


The only reason I bought from Cyberpower.com was the fact that we had built two rigs for familiy members and needed a break so we treated ourselves.

My machine has 32 megs of RAM and one of the the highest Nvidea cards on the market. It won't need any upgrading  for a LONG TIME and it was under $1200

If the rumor about the NEXt Gen only have 8 gigs of RAM and being an 8 Core....then PCs will still be leading when it comes to graphics.  And if the rumor is true about them costing $600...its a complete rip off.

I also hope the next gen power supplies are decent to support an 8 core. 300 watts is not enough.
