It was such a good game, but so gutting! I'd start to bond with one of the characters and then they'd die! Douglas was my favourite (after Lee and Clem) and that **** Lily ended up shooting him... So I left her at the side of the road mwahahaha!

I wonder if she got killed. The last time we saw her was when she and the rest of the refugees holding out against a horde of zombies in the prison. Since they ran out of bullets, I would assume she got killed.

I was talking about the comic which follow with what happen to her afterward. She doesn't appear on the TV show. The event in the comics and the video games are quite different. Lori and the baby were killed by her as well.

Oh, I've not read the comics. I don't know if the characters in the game are the same as the comics/show, I think they're completely different though.

There are some crossover like with Glenn. The timeline would fit, too, since Glenn met up with Lee shortly before heading toward Atlanta.

I've only seen the first season of The Walking Dead tv show, does Lily turn up in it too then?

Lilly doesn't appear in the TV show. I think she was replaced by Merle, Daryl's brother as the Governor's right hand man. The Governor is the bad guy during the prison arc. Lilly has a habit of shoot first, ask question later, so after she shot Rick's wife and her baby (Rick is the cop), she proceeds to shooting the governor. That was a bit of a redeeming moment for her.

Out of curiosity, how did Fiona end up untainted? I just read in one of the other threads that she was "cured".

If the baby was Alistair then there could be a slim chance that he might end up immune to the taint *finger crossed*. Gosh, I don't want him or my Warden to die of the taint/the calling.

Y'know, the more I play DA2, the more I actually like it. Obviously, DA:O is still my favourite of the two but I'd say DA2 is definitely underrated.

Honestly I prefer DA2.
I may be the only one
I would prefer its a bit more "open" like DAO - as in more places to visit but it's cool.
The reused maps never bothered me and I much prefer the combat in DA2.
(and Cullen.. I mean CULLEN! hehe)

I really didn't like DA2 when I first played it, but it grew on me a lot. I'm hoping DA3 will go back to the conversation format of getting to know our companions and less waves of enemies though.

Aye, I do miss the more indepth conversations. (just not at bad times lol as in another part of this thread NOT during fights please lol)

I see what you mean, I wasn't oo keen on the waves and waves (especially when they glitched and got stuck - eg, the night time ones where it made the other groups not spawn ... grrrrr) But I really liked how quick the moves were. Especially rogue zipping all over the screen heh

I think I'd like there to be more quests that require us to do something other than fighting. Like, stealth and puzzles, or using our charm/etc to get ourselves out of potential trouble etc.

You're not the only one, Ianthia... altho you, MMG and I may some of the few! LOL I never noticed the reused maps for long, long time. I dunno, the story in DA2 really pulled me in much more than DA:O.

LOL Yeah, after a while I end up starting from the same presets, too. Most of the presets are so ugly that I don't want to start with  bad initial conditions. In fact, my two blonde Hawkes, male and female, almost look identical, too!

And, yes, Lola, that brunette Hawke is my Norah-clone who gets all the Cullen lovin' in my pics. She had both Fenris and Anders, so I used her save games for a lot of my swaps. LOL

The story with the kid reminds me of DotS a bit, with the kid Avexis being the "key" to the blood mage's plot. Add in some daddy bear protection issues, and you'd have some fun drama.

I'm not familiar with those, but undoubtedly many of these stories have been told before.
